A method for using a multi-welled micro-plate in radioimmunoassay ('RIA') is disclosed to improve the performance of RIA. At first, there is provided a multi-welled micro-plate that can be dismantled and divided into multiple wells. Then, samples are filled into the wells of the multi-welled micro-plate for incubation. Washing, tracer-adding, incubation, and washing are executed. At a final step, the multi-welled micro-plate is separated into wells, and each of to the wells is put into a test tube for gamma counting by a gamma counter.

Radioimmunoassay with a 96-welled micro-plate

A method of single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) using dual-isotopes of [Tc]TRODAT-1 and [I]ADAM is provided. Through SPECT, anomalies in dopamine and serotonin system are diagnosed with their photos in one examination. Thus, cost and labor for two examinations are saved and uses of SPECT are reduced.

Method of nuclear medical photography using dual-isotopes

Disclosed is a method for quantitatively analyzing a functional group on the surface of a solid material. The functional group is carboxylic group while the solid material is carbon nano-tubes. The carboxylic group reacts with sodium hydrogen carbonate, thus turning the carboxylic groups into sodium carboxylate while consuming the sodium ions in the solution. The carbon nano-tubes are separated from the sodium hydrogen carbonate solution. The number of the sodium ions before and after the reaction is analyzed. Moreover, the sodium carboxylate carried on the reacted carbon nano-tubes with reacts with hydrochloric acid solution, thus dissolving the sodium ions in the hydrochloric acid solution. The carbon nanotubes are separated from from the hydrochloric acid solution. The amount of the sodium ions is analyzed before and after the reaction in the hydrochloric acid solution.

The manufacturing process forI-ADAM consists of four steps-add [I] ammonium iodide solution, make oxidation reaction occur, terminate the reaction and neutralize the solution, filter and collect the filtrate. The automatic manufacturing device includes a plurality of units for taking each of the four steps that is disposed inside a chassis and is operated by automatic control. Users only need to put reactants into storage bottles respectively, turn on the power, and initiate the operation system, Then the preparation process of drugs for clinical diagnosis is finished within twenty minutes.

A novel method of preparation of easily stripped off temporary wound dressing material is disclosed. In this process, the-N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAAm) monomer is successfully grafted on the non-woven cloths by copolymerization. It is initiated by .gamma.-ray irradiation to activate the surface of the non-woven cloth. NIPAAm is then grafted onto the surface of the non-woven cloth. The free radical or peroxide is produced by Co-60 .gamma.-ray, then grafted on the non-woven cloths. The lower critical solution temperature (LCST) in thermoresponsive poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) is still retained after the grafting. This will make the dressing cloth stripped off easily and without hurting the tissue. The material process is very simple and has medically applicable value.
