A driving method applicable to a display device, in which the display device includes multiple pixel circuits, and the method includes: adjusting multiple control signals according to a first display data such that the pixel circuits generate a first frame; receiving a second display data generated after the display data; and adjusting the control signals according to a time duration of the first frame such that the pixel circuits generate a second frame, where brightness for each of the pixel circuits is proportional to a duty ratio of one of the corresponding control signals, and an increment for the duty ratio of one of the corresponding control signals in the second frame is negatively correlated to a difference between a ratio of a preset time period to the time duration of the first frame and a ratio of the preset time period to the time duration of the second frame.

A device substrate comprising a substrate, a first pad, a second pad, a plurality of first power lines, a plurality of second power lines, and a plurality of control units is provided. The first pad is disposed on the first side of the device substrate. The second pad is disposed on the second side of the device substrate. The second side is opposite the first side. The first power lines are electrically connected to the first pad. The second power lines are electrically connected to the second pad. The control unit is electrically connected to at least one of the first power line and the second power line. Device substrate, display panel and tiled display comprising arrangement of power lines and pads

A pixel circuit including a writing circuit, a compensation circuit, a reset circuit, a brightness control circuit, and a light emission control circuit is provided. The writing circuit provides a first data signal and a second data signal. A first compensation unit of the compensation circuit provides, in a first time period, a first driving current according to the first data signal. A second compensation unit of the compensation circuit provides, in a second time period separated from the first time period, a second driving current according to the second data signal. The reset circuit provides a reference voltage to the compensation circuit. The light emission control circuit conducts the first compensation unit to the brightness control circuit in the first time period, and conducts the second compensation unit to the brightness control circuit in the second time period.

Pixel circuit suitable for borderless design and display panel including the same

A display panel and a pixel circuit of the display panel are provided. The pixel circuit includes a driving transistor and a light-emitting time length modulator. The driving transistor has a control terminal receiving a pulse width control signal and an amplitude control signal, and the driving transistor generates a driving signal. In a first time period, the light-emitting time length modulator modulates a time length of a plurality of second time periods for providing the driving signal to a light-emitting device according to a light-emitting time control signal.

Display panel and pixel circuit thereof

The disclosure provides a pixel circuit including a lighting element, a current source, an amplitude control circuit, a pulse width control circuit, and an internal compensation circuit. The current source includes a driving transistor, and provides a driving current to the lighting element by the driving transistor. The amplitude control circuit includes a first switch, and provides a first voltage to the driving transistor by the first switch to determine magnitude of the driving current. The pulse width control circuit provides a second voltage to the first switch to determine a pulse width of the driving current. The internal compensation circuit is coupled with the current source and the amplitude control circuit, detects a threshold voltage of the first switch, and provides the driving current to an external compensation circuit to render the external compensation circuit detect a threshold voltage of the driving transistor.

Pixel circuit for adjusting pulse width of driving current and display panel having the same

A touch panel includes a substrate and a first sensor element disposed on the substrate. The first sensor element includes a light-shielding conductive layer, a first transparent conductive layer, a first photosensitive layer, and a first electrode electrically connected to the first photosensitive layer. The light-shielding conductive layer and the first transparent conductive layer are interposed between the first substrate and the first photosensitive layer. A transmittance of the light-shielding conductive layer is smaller than a transmittance of the first transparent conductive layer.

Touch panel with sensor elements

A pixel circuit and a driving method thereof are provided. The pixel circuit includes first to second pixel electrodes, first to third liquid crystal capacitors, a first storage capacitor and first to third switches. The first liquid crystal capacitor and the first storage capacitor locate between the first pixel electrode and a first common voltage. The second liquid crystal capacitor locates between the first and the second pixel electrodes. The third liquid crystal capacitor locates between the second pixel electrode and the first common voltage. The first switch has ends for receiving a data voltage and a scan signal and coupled to the first pixel electrode. The second switch has ends for receiving a second common voltage and a reset signal and coupled to the first pixel electrode. The third switch has ends for receiving a reset voltage and the reset signal and coupled to the second pixel electrode.

Pixel circuit and driving method thereof

A pixel structure includes a first TFT, an adhesive layer, an LED, and a detection conductive layer. The first TFT is coupled to a conductive layer and is configured to transmit display data to the conductive layer. The adhesive layer covers the conductive layer. The LED is disposed on the adhesive layer. The detection conductive layer is disposed on the adhesive layer, and the detection conductive layer, the adhesive layer, and the conductive layer constitute a detection capacitor. Here, a thickness of the detection conductive layer is equal to or slightly greater than a height of the LED.

A pixel circuit includes a first capacitor whose two terminals are coupled to a first node and a ground end respectively, a first switch whose two terminals are coupled to a second node and a fourth node respectively, a liquid crystal, a second switch, a pull-up circuit, a pull-down circuit, a second capacitor and a third switch. The first capacitor has a first terminal and a second terminal, wherein the first terminal is configured for receiving a first reference voltage. The data input unit is configured for inputting a data signal to the second terminal of the first capacitor according to a first scanning signal. The liquid crystal capacitor has a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal receives a first operating signal. The control unit is configured to control a voltage of the second terminal of the liquid crystal capacitor according to a second scanning signal. The driving unit is configured to control the voltage of the second terminal of the liquid crystal capacitor in response to the data input unit is disabled by the first scanning signal.
