A multi-band antenna for a portable communication device is disclosed, in which the communication device includes a first housing, a second housing and a substrate. The multi-band antenna includes a feeding portion, a system ground plane, a metal ring, a resonant cavity, a first and a second radiating portion. The system ground plane is disposed on the substrate. The metal ring is connected to the first housing, and forms a space with the first housing to accommodate the substrate, in which the metal ring is electrically coupled to the system ground plane through a plurality of ground ends. The resonant cavity is formed between the system ground plane and the metal ring to generate a first resonant mode. The first and the second radiating portion are disposed on the second housing, for generating a second and a third resonant mode, respectively.

Multi-band antenna for portable communication device

An antenna assembly includes first and second antennas each generating a resonant mode to cover an operating bandwidth, and a transmission line. The first includes a first radiation unit with a feed-in portion coupled to a first feed portion in contact with a core wire of a coaxial cable and a first grounding portion. The second antenna includes a second radiation unit with a second feed-in portion coupled to a second feed portion in contact with a conductive shielding layer of the coaxial cable and a second grounding portion. The transmission line includes first and second connecting portions coupled respectively to the second feed portion of the second feed-in portion. When a signal within the operating bandwidth is transmitted through the coaxial cable, the energy of the signal is distributed among the first and second antennas.

Antenna assembly to reduce specific absorption rate

A multi-band antenna includes a dielectric substrate, and a main antenna member and a metal piece disposed on the dielectric substrate. The main antenna member includes a feed-in portion for feeding with a radio frequency signal, a first conductor arm connected to the feed-in portion and adjacent to a first side edge of the dielectric substrate, a second conductor arm connected to the feed-in portion and having a length shorter than that of the first conductor arm, a third conductor arm connected to the feed-in portion, a fourth conductor arm extending along the third conductor arm, and a grounding portion adjacent to the feed-in portion. The metal piece is disposed at the first side edge and connected to the fourth conductor arm, resonates and couples with the first conductor arm to form a first radiator section, and cooperates with the fourth conductor arm to form a second radiator section.

Multi-band antenna

A multi-band antenna includes a connecting conductor, first and second conducting arms, and a loop conductor. The connecting conductor has a feed-in end and a connecting end. The first conducting arm is connected to the connecting end of the connecting conductor. The second connecting arm is connected to the connecting end of the connecting conductor and is substantially perpendicular to the first connecting arm. The loop conductor has first and second radiator sections, each adjacent and substantially parallel to a respective one of the first and second conducting arms. The loop conductor forms a substantially L-shaped gap with the first and second conducting arms, further has a grounding end adjacent to the feed-in end, and extends from the grounding end to the feed-in end.

An antenna includes first and second radiating elements and a conductive arm. The second radiating element has opposite feeding and grounding end portions, each of which is coupled to a respective one of feeding and grounding end portions of the first radiating element. The conductive arm is coupled to the feeding end portion of the second radiating element.

Ultra-wideband antenna

An antenna includes a loop radiating element, and first and second radiating arms. The loop radiating element includes first and second segments, each of which has opposite first and second ends, and an intermediate segment that interconnects the second ends of the first and second segments thereof. The first and second radiating arms extend outwardly and respectively from the first and second ends of the first segment of the loop radiating element.

Antenna for a wireless personal area network

An antenna device includes a dielectric substrate, first and second antennas, and a parasitic coupler. The first antenna is formed on the dielectric substrate, and includes first and second radiating elements that extend in opposite directions. The parasitic coupler is formed on the dielectric substrate and is electromagnetically coupled to the first radiating element. The second antenna is formed on the dielectric substrate and is disposed proximate to the second radiating element.

Wide bandwidth antenna device

An antenna device includes a dual-loop radiating element, first and second radiating arms, a feeding element, and a grounding element. The dual-loop radiating element has first and second loops. Each of the first and second radiating arms is disposed in a respective one of the first and second loops. The feeding element interconnects the first and second loops and the first and second radiating arms. The grounding element is connected to the first and second loops.

An electronic device includes a casing, a circuit board, and an internal antenna unit. The circuit board is disposed in the casing. The internal antenna unit is disposed in the casing, and includes a feeding element that overlaps with the circuit board, and first and second radiating elements, each of which extends from the feeding element toward a wall of the casing beyond an edge of the circuit board. A feeding point is provided on the feeding element, and is coupled to the edge of the circuit board. A grounding point is provided on the feeding element, and is coupled to the edge of the circuit board.

Electronic device with an internal antenna

A multi-frequency antenna module includes first and second radiating elements disposed on a dielectric substrate and spaced apart from each other. A first conductor sheet of the first radiating element has a first signal-feeding contact and a grounding contact that contact electrically and respectively first and third electrical contacts on a circuit board of an electronic apparatus when the substrate is mounted in mounted in a housing of the electronic apparatus. A second conductor sheet of the second radiating element has a second signal-feeding contact that contacts electrically a second electrical contact on the circuit board when the substrate is mounted in the housing.
