The disclosure relates to an optical system for an augmented reality apparatus, comprising: an image projection source; and a polarizing beam splitter. The polarizing beam splitter is arranged such that light emitted from the image projection source is able to be non-perpendicularly incident on the beam splitting side and be at least partially reflected. The polarizing beam splitter is configured such that a polarized light component passes through the polarizing beam splitter and is transmitted through the transmission side thereof, and a polarized light component is reflected from the beam splitting side. The optical system also comprises a polarizer disposed between the image projection source and the polarizing beam splitter, and the polarizer is configured to allow polarized light, whose polarization is in the second direction, to be transmitted therethrough and polarized light, whose polarization is in the first direction to be absorbed.

Augmented reality apparatus and optical system therefor

The present disclosure relates to method and apparatus for waking up a wearable device. The method includes: determining, based on a detected voice signal, whether the voice signal is from a wearer of the wearable device; determining, based on the voice signal, whether the voice signal belongs to a conversation between the wearer and the wearable device with a speech classification model; and waking up the wearable device when the voice signal is from the wearer and the voice signal belongs to the conversation between the wearer and the wearable device. The method and apparatus can wake up the wearable device during a normal interaction process between the wearer and the wearable device by using the method and apparatus, thereby realizing a natural wake-up process and improving the user experience of the wearable device.

Augmented reality device and optical system thereof

The disclosure relates to an augmented apparatus, and an optical system and a semi-reflector for the same. The optical system comprises: an image projection source; a beam splitter, the beam splitter having a beam splitting side adjacent to the image projection source and a transmission side facing away from the image projection source; and a semi-reflector, the semi-reflector being arrange adjacent to the beam splitting side and being downstream of the beam splitting side in an optical path along which light emitted from the image projection source is reflected by the beam splitting side, the beam splitter being arranged such that the light emitted from the image projection source is able to be at least partially reflected by the beam splitting side towards the semi-reflector, wherein the semi-reflector comprises a substrate and a semi-reflective film on a distal surface of the substrate. According the present application's technical means, the design freedom of the whole optical system can be increased and the field of view can be enlarged, which facilitates the final imaging result in the human eye.

Augmented reality apparatus, and optical system and semi-reflector therefor

An augmented reality (AR) display device is described. The display device includes a projection source; a first optical path having a first beamsplitter and a first reflector; and a second optical path having a second beamsplitter and a second reflector. The first and second reflectors each include a reflective film. Virtual image light emitted from the projection source and carrying virtual image information first passes through the first optical path where it is reflected at least twice and transmitted at least once by the first beamsplitter and the first reflector, then enters the second optical path where it is transmitted at least once and reflected at least twice by the second beamsplitter and the second reflector, and enters a human eye. Scene light from a real scene enters the human eye through the second optical path. A wearable AR system can include the AR display device and the projection source.

Wearable AR system and AR display device

The present application discloses a head-mounted augmented reality (AR) apparatus, including: a head gear for being worn on a user's head; an optical module configured to provide AR display, connected to the head gear, and movable relative to the head gear; and a limit mechanism acting between the head gear and the optical module to enable the optical module to be selectively lockable in a first position or a second position relative to the head gear, in which in the first position the user when wearing the head gear is able to observe the outside scenery only through the optical module, and in the second position the user when wearing the head gear is able to observe the outside scenery completely not through the optical module. The present application also discloses a pair of AR eyeglasses similarly configured and an AR device for installation on the eyeglasses. Using the inventive technical means, the user is able to observe the real-world scene clearly and conveniently at any time.

Provided are an optical system for an augmented reality apparatus and an augmented reality apparatus. The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for unlocking a head-mounted display device based on gaze point information. The method includes: acquiring gaze point information of a user who wears a locked head-mounted display device; generating unlocking information according to the gaze point information; performing a matching operation on the unlocking information and a pre-stored unlocking key; and unlocking the head-mounted display device when the unlocking information matches the unlocking key. With this method, convenience and safety of the unlocking operation may be improved, and user's experience may be enhanced.

Method and apparatus for unlocking head-mounted display device

A method for generating training models includes generating a preliminary training model based on a group of first images, the first images including different types of objects; processing a group of second images with the preliminary model to generate a probability array for each of the second images, the probability array indicating likelihoods that an object is a particular type of object; generating correlations between the different types of objects based on the probability arrays; generating a plurality of object groups based on the correlations, where each object group includes a plurality of different types of objects that have a relatively low correlation with the other types of objects in the same object group; and for each object group, generating a final training model based on a group of third images, the third images each including an object having an object type corresponding to one of the object types.

Defect detection using multiple models

The disclosure relates to an augmented reality apparatus and an optical system therefor. Using the inventive technical means, influence of unwanted light on the image quality can be eliminated and in the meanwhile influence of stray light can be eliminated.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to water leakage detection. Data obtained by a smart electricity meter during a predefined time period is collected, where the smart electricity meter is associated with a water-consuming unit. Usages of certain electric appliances in the water-consuming unit during the predefined time period are determined based on the collected data. The electricity consumption of those appliances is correlated to water consumption. The legitimate water consumption of the water-consuming unit during the predefined time period is then determined based on the usages of the electric appliances.
