An optical probe includes a cylindrical lens adapted to receive and transmit incident light. A light-emitting surface of the cylindrical lens is a curved end surface having a concentric ring-shaped diffractive microstructure. A working position of the optical probe is a position where a diffraction order is 1 when the incident light having a design wavelength between a first wavelength and a second wavelength passes through the diffractive microstructure. When passing through the cylindrical lens, the incident light having the first wavelength produces a diffraction effect with the diffractive microstructure and is converged at a first wavelength working position approximately the same as the working position of the optical probe with the diffraction order of 1. After being refracted by the curved end surface, the incident light having the second wavelength is converged at a second wavelength working position approximately the same as the working position of the optical probe.

Optical probe

Provided is an interferometer for inspecting a test sample. The interferometer includes: a light source for providing a light beam; a beam splitting element, splitting the light beam into first and second incident light, wherein the first incident light is reflected by the test sample into first reflection light; a reflecting element, reflecting the second incident light into second reflection light; an optical detection element, receiving the first and the second reflection light into an interference signal; and a signal processing module, coupled to the optical detection element, for performing spatial differential calculation on the interference signal to generate a demodulation image of the test sample.

Interferometer and imaging method therefor

A virtual image display system adapted for venipuncture applications is provided. The virtual image display system includes at least one infrared light source, at least one image sensing module, and at least one virtual image display module. The at least one infrared light source is configured to emit at least one infrared light to a tissue having a vein. The at least one image sensing module is configured to receive the infrared light from the tissue so as to sense an image of the vein. The at least one virtual image display module is disposed in front of at least one eye of a user. The at least one virtual image display module includes an image display unit configured to show an image of the vein to the at least one eye of the user.

Virtual image display system

A method for evaluating skin tissue includes: obtaining a tomographic image of skin; performing a quantization process for quantizing brightness values of the tomographic image of skin to generate a quantized image; performing a binarization process on the brightness value of each image point in the quantized image according to a first threshold interval to generate a first filtered image; performing the binarization process on the brightness value of each image point in the quantized image according to a second threshold interval to generate a second filtered image; obtaining a first estimated tissue boundary according to the distribution of the bright spots in the first filtered image; obtaining a second estimated tissue boundary according to the distribution of the bright spots in the second filtered image; estimating a thickness of skin tissue according to a difference between the first and second estimated tissue boundaries.

Method for evaluating skin tissue and system using the same

A virtual image display apparatus, adapted for medical surgical applications, with which a surgical device is operated is provided. The virtual image display apparatus includes at least one virtual image display module which is disposed in front of at least one eye of a user. The virtual image display module includes an image display unit and a beam splitting unit. The image display unit provides an image beam, wherein the image beam includes at least one type of surgical information. The beam splitting unit is disposed on the transmission path of the image beam and an object beam from an environment object. The beam splitting unit causes at least part of the object beam to be transmitted to the eye, and causes at least part of the image beam to be transmitted to the eye to display a virtual image.

Virtual image display apparatus

A particle manipulation system and a projection device are provided. The projection device includes an image source and a projection lens. The image source provides an image beam. The projection lens is disposed on a light path of the image beam and includes a zoom lens set and a focusing lens set. The zoom lens set is disposed on the light path of the image beam from the image source and includes at least two lens groups disposed in sequence on the light path of the image beam. The focusing lens set is disposed on the light path of the image beam. The zoom lens set is disposed between the image source and the focusing lens set. A photoconductor chip is disposed on the light path of the image beam from the projection lens.

Particle manipulation system and projection device

An optically-induced dielectrophoresis device includes a first substrate, a first conductive layer, a first patterned photoconductor layer, a first patterned layer, a second substrate, a second conductive layer, and a spacer. The first conductive layer is disposed on the first substrate. The first patterned photoconductor layer is disposed on the first conductive layer. The first patterned layer is disposed on the first conductive layer. The first patterned photoconductor layer and the first patterned layer are distributed alternately over the first conductive layer. Resistivity of the first patterned photoconductor layer is not equal to resistivity of the first patterned layer. At least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is pervious to a light. The second conductive layer is disposed on the second substrate and between the first substrate and the second substrate. The spacer connects the first substrate and the second substrate.

Optically-induced dielectrophoresis device

A projection lens, a projection device and an optically-induced microparticle device are provided. The projection lens includes an aperture, a first and a second lens groups. The aperture, the first and the second lens groups are disposed on a projection path of an image. The aperture is between the first and the second lens groups. The first and the second lens groups are suitable for interchanging with each other to switch the magnification ratio. When in a first state, the first lens group is between the object and the aperture and the second lens group is between the aperture and a projection surface, herein the projection lens has a first magnification ratio. When in a second state, the first lens group is between the aperture and the projection surface, and the second lens group is between the object and the aperture, herein the projection lens has a second magnification ratio.

Projection lens, projection device and optically-induced microparticle device

A diagnostic equipment having an auto-focusing function comprising a image detection device, a first scanning device, a mobile optical lens assembly, a focusing detection device and a first splitter assembly is provided. The image detection device comprises a first light source and a first photo detector. The first light source provides a first incident light and the first incident light incident to an object and becomes a first signal light. The first photo detector is for receiving the first signal light. The first scanning device is for adjusting a path of the first incident light and to scan the object. The mobile optical lens assembly has a lens and a mobile platform. The first splitter assembly is for transmitting the first and the second signal light to the first and the second photo detector, respectively.

Auto-focusing diagnostic equipment

An impact force feedback device and an interactive system using the same are provided, wherein a large impact force feedback is generated to provide a real force feedback sensation to the user. The impact force feedback device includes a housing, a magnet, and at least one actuator assembly. The housing carries the actuator assembly. The actuator assembly includes a guide rod device, a mass, and a coil. The guide rod device is disposed on the housing. The mass is disposed on the guide rod device in a sliding manner. The coil generates an electric field when a current is conducted through it. An electromagnetic force is generated by supplying the current in a direction orthogonal to a magnetic field. The electromagnetic force is supplied to the mass such that the mass moves on the guide rod device and impacts the housing to generate the unidirectional impact force feedback.

Impact force feedback device and interactive system using the same

A vibration absorber provided on an optical disk drive module of a disk drive for suppressing vibration produced by the optical disk drive module at various speeds. The vibration absorber at least has a body, dampers, elastic members, an actuator and a controller. The body is secured on the optical disk drive module. The dampers elastically and vertically shift on the body. The elastic members are provided on the body for providing elasticity in shifting of the damper. The actuator is provided on the body and coupled to the damper for providing a driving force for the vertical shifting of the damper. The controller controls the driving force outputted by the actuator based on the change in rotational speed of the optical disk drive module, so as to change the elasticity in vertical shifting of the damper to reduce the shifting and corresponding vibration of the optical disk drive module.

Vibration absorber

An optical pickup head and an electromagnetic actuating device thereof are provided. The electromagnetic actuating device is used to move an objective lens carrier having an objective lens assembly to form an optical pickup head. The electromagnetic actuating device includes at least a magnet, at least a coil, and at least a yoke. The magnet is spaced apart from the objective lens carrier by a distance, and the coil is disposed at the objective lens carrier, for generating an electromagnetic force to interact with the magnet. The yoke is spaced apart from the objective lens carrier by a distance, in which the yoke has a protruding part that extends towards the objective lens carrier and is used to attract magnetic flux lines produced by the magnet, and thus making the magnetic flux that passes through the coil be distributed evenly.

Optical pickup head and electromagnetic actuating device thereof

A spindle motor inclination angle adjusting mechanism for an optical disk device includes two adjusting mechanisms to provide two rotational freedom for the base dock of the spindle motor to adjust the inclination angle of the spindle motor. The first adjusting mechanism has three support points that are not on the same straight line to support the base dock. Two of the support points are fixed and the third support point is movable relative to the other two support points to change the inclination angle of the base dock of the spindle motor. The second adjusting mechanism is a rotary element for carrying the first adjusting mechanism and driving the first adjusting mechanism to rotate and change the direction of the inclination angle of the base dock to adjust the spindle motor inclination angle.

Spindle motor inclination angle adjusting mechanism for optical disk devices

A disk carrier mechanism is used for moving a disk between an insertion position and a reading position. The disk carrier mechanism includes a wedged member set, a fixing board, a sliding board, and a driver set. The wedged member set includes multiple wedged members, each with a wedged part for wedging a disk. The driver set is formed on the fixing board for driving the sliding board to move relative to the fixing board. After being inserted, a disk is wedged in the wedged part and the force of inserting the disk pushes the sliding board to move to the position where the sliding board makes contact with the driver set. Thus the driver set drives the sliding board to place the disk in the reading position. Thus fewer members are used to accomplish the goal of moving the disk, which simplifies the actions of members, the fabrication of the mechanism, and reduces cost.

Disk carrier mechanism with wedged member set

A disc receiver device comprises a loader that can rotate through a motor and transmits power. The loader comprises a plurality of gears meshing with each other and includes a sun gear and a planet gear. The planet gear has two degrees freedom of motion of a self-rotation and a revolution that takes the sun gear as a center. The tray is driven to move by means of the self-rotation of the planet gear, enabling the tray has a retracting position projecting out of the disc driver and a loading position moving into the disc driver. And a set of sliding plates that are engaged with shafts of a mecha are driven to move by means of the revolution of the planet gear, enabling the sliding plate has a first position corresponding to the retracting position and a second position corresponding to reading position to control the inward and outward movement of the disc and the upward and downward movement of the mecha.
