A three-dimensional display apparatus, including a backlight module, two panels, and a synchronization device, is provided. The backlight module has a light emitting side and sequentially emits a plurality of color light. Both panels are disposed at the light emitting side, and the first panel is disposed between the backlight module and the second panel. The first panel includes a first polarizer and a first liquid crystal substrate, and the first polarizer is disposed between the backlight module and the first liquid crystal substrate. The second panel includes a second liquid crystal substrate and a second polarizer, and the second liquid crystal substrate is disposed between the second polarizer and the first panel. The synchronization device is electrically connected to the backlight module and the two liquid crystal substrates. During a frame time, the backlight module and the two liquid crystal substrates are synchronously driven by the synchronization device.

Three-dimensional display apparatus

A fabricating method of an electron-emitting device includes at least the following steps. A substrate having a first side and a second side is provided. The first side is opposite to the second side. A first electrode pattern layer is formed on the first side of the substrate. A conductive pattern layer is formed on the substrate and the first electrode pattern layer, and the conductive pattern layer partially covers the first electrode pattern layer. An electron-emitting region is formed in the conductive pattern layer. A second electrode pattern layer is formed on the second side of the substrate. The second electrode pattern layer partially covers the conductive pattern layer. The fabricating method has a simple fabricating process and a low fabricating cost.

Fabricating method of electron-emitting device

An image processing method includes the following steps. First, an image data is provided. The image data includes at least one first image section and at least one second image section. Then, an image distribution data is provided. The image distribution data records a position of the first image section and a position of the second image section. Next, an encoding step is performed to bury the image distribution data in the image data so as to form a frame data.

Image processing method

A device and a method for converting three color values to four color values are provided. In the method, a first to a third color values of a pixel are obtained. Further, a first to a third difference values between every two of the first to the third color values are respectively computed. If all of the first to the third difference values are lower than a threshold, a first to a fourth color converting values are generated according to the first to the third color values, and the fourth color converting value is higher than zero. On the contrary, the fourth color converting value is zero, and the first to the third color converting values are equal to the first to the third color values, respectively. Thereby, a color break-up can be suppressed, and color saturation can be maintained.

Device and method for converting three color values to four color values

A display including a first substrate, a first electrode, a second substrate, a second electrode, and a mixed solution is provided. The first electrode is disposed on the first substrate, and the second electrode is disposed on the second substrate. In addition, the mixed solution is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. Moreover, the mixed solution includes a solution and a plurality of first neutral micro-particles disposed in the solution.

Display

A capacitance sensing circuit for a touch panel includes an analog capacitance-detecting circuit, a PWM-to-digital circuit and a self-calibration circuit. The analog capacitance-detecting circuit detects the capacitance of the touch panel based on a charging current, and converts the detected capacitance into a PWM control signal. The PWM-to-digital circuit converts the PWM control signal into a sensing count value based on a clock signal. The self-calibration circuit adjusts the value of the charging current or the frequency of the clock signal according to the difference between the range of the sensing count value and a predetermined detecting range. The predetermined detecting range can thus be adjusted for matching the range of the sensing count value.

Capacitance sensing circuit

A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, a pixel array, a gate driver, a timing controller, and an optimization circuit. Each pixel unit in the pixel array displays images according to the gate driving signal received from a corresponding gate line and the data driving signal received from a corresponding data line. According to an optimized reference value, the timing controller provides an output enable signal, based on which the gate driver outputs the gate driving signals. The optimization circuit receives a first grayscale data related to display images of a row of pixel units in a first driving period and a second grayscale data related to display images of the row of pixel units in a second driving period, and provides the optimized reference value according the difference between the first and second grayscale data.

Liquid crystal display device with adaptive charging/discharging time and related driving method

An LCD including a backlight module and an LCD panel is provided. The LCD panel includes a color light guide panel, suitable for differentiating an incident light into multiple color lights. The color light guide panel includes a substrate and a color light output structure. The substrate has multiple pixel regions, and the color light output structure is disposed in each of the pixel regions. The color light output structure includes first&#x2dc;fourth nano-patterns. The incident light is scattered by the first nano-pattern for producing a first color light, scattered by the second nano-pattern for producing a second color light, scattered by the third nano-pattern for producing a third color light, and scattered by the fourth nano-pattern for producing a fourth color light. The color light guide panel can output uniform and high luminous first&#x2dc;fourth color light, and the LCD can display high quality image.

The present invention relates to a drive circuit of light source by color sequential method for generating a full-color image based on sequential switching between red, green and blue illuminations. The drive circuit of light source by color sequential method includes a color-sequential control circuit and a plurality of radiating areas coupled to multiple light units. The color-sequential control circuit is connected to those radiating areas to control the operation thereof by the color sequential method.

In a capacitance sensing analog circuit of a touch panel sensing circuit, by raising a magnitude of a current flowing through a sensing capacitor to form an amplified sensing capacitance, while sensing the amplified sensing capacitance with the aid of pulse width modulation signals, higher resolution of the original sensing capacitance may thus be achieved. Besides, by using a self-calibrating capacitance sensing circuit on the touch panel sensing circuit, linear errors and DC errors of an output signal of the capacitance sensing analog circuit may be filtered off, and thereby resolution of a capacitance amplifying ratio may be effectively raised so as to relieve errors within the capacitance amplifying ratio caused by noises.

Touch panel sensing circuit

A manufacturing method of a thin film transistor is provided. An insulating pattern layer having at least one protrusion is formed on a substrate. At least one spacer and a plurality of amorphous semiconductor patterns separated from each other are formed on the insulating pattern layer. The spacer is formed at one side of the protrusion and connected between the amorphous semiconductor patterns. The spacer and the amorphous semiconductor patterns are crystallized. The protrusion and the insulating pattern layer below the spacer are removed so that a beam structure having a plurality of corners is formed and suspended over the substrate. A carrier tunneling layer, a carrier trapping layer and a carrier blocking layer are sequentially formed to compliantly wrap the corners of the beam structure. Hereafter, a gate is formed on the substrate to cover the beam structure and wrap the carrier blocking layer.

Manufacturing method of a thin film transistor

For further reducing power consumption of a color sequential display, a frame rate or a field rate is reduced according to conditions, which include whether a received frame is dynamic or static and whether a backlight mode is activated, for reducing power consumption. Besides, images may be outputted in forms of color images or of grey levels selectively so as to reduce an amount of processed data and related data transmission.

Color sequential display and power saving method thereof

A pixel driving structure of a particle display displaying three colors and a method for displaying colors thereof are provided. The pixel driving structure includes a first substrate; a first electrode layer disposed on a surface of the first substrate; a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate; a second electrode layer on the second substrate; a particle solution disposed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer and having a first color solution, a plurality of second color positive particles, and a plurality of third color negative particles; and an alternating/direct power supply connecting with the first and second electrode layers. A method for displaying color includes steps of applying an alternating voltage to display a first color; applying a first direct voltage to display a third color; and applying a second direct voltage to display a second color.

Pixel driving structure of displaying three colors of particle display and its displaying colors method

A voltage converter for use in a backlight module stores energy of an input voltage using an inductor and outputs a plurality of output voltages accordingly. The charging path of the inductor is controlled according to the first output voltage so that the first output voltage can be stabilized. The discharging paths from the inductor to other output voltages are controlled according to the differences between other output voltages and the first output voltage so that other output voltages can also be stabilized.
