A display apparatus includes a wireless transmission unit and a display panel. The display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of pixel units and a signal line. The substrate includes a display region and a periphery region. The periphery region surrounds the display region. The pixel units are disposed on the display region. Each of the pixel units includes an active device and a pixel electrode. The active device is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. The signal line is on the periphery region. As viewed from a top view, the signal line has an annular shape having a gap and surrounds the display region.

Display apparatus

A display panel including horizontal signal lines, vertical signal lines intersecting the horizontal signal lines, first transmission lines and second transmission lines is provided. The horizontal signal lines are divided into a first horizontal signal line group and an adjacent second horizontal signal line group. Each of the first and second horizontal signal line groups includes N horizontal lines, wherein N is a positive integer. The first transmission lines are positioned at a first side of the vertical signal lines and respectively connected to the N horizontal signal lines in the first horizontal signal line group in a first tendency. The second transmission lines are positioned at a second, opposite side of the vertical signal lines and respectively connected to the N horizontal signal lines in the second horizontal signal line group in a second tendency. The first tendency is opposite to the second tendency.

Display panel

An electronic device including a substrate, a plurality of first signal lines, and a plurality of second signal lines is provided. The first signal lines are disposed on the substrate. Each of the first signal lines includes a first intersecting section and a first extending section. The first intersecting section each has a constant extending direction. The first intersecting section is connected to the first extending section, while the first intersecting section and the first extending section have different extending directions. The second signal lines are disposed on the substrate. Each of the second signal lines includes a second intersecting section. The second intersecting section each has a constant extending direction. The second signal lines intersect with the first signal lines to form a plurality of intersections on each of the first signal lines, and the intersections are located on the first intersecting sections.

Electronic device

A reflective display device includes a thin-film transistor (TFT) array substrate, a front panel laminate (FPL), a front protection sheet, a back protection sheet, a light blocking layer, and a light source. The front panel laminate is located on the TFT array substrate, and has a transparent conductive layer and a display medium layer. The display medium layer is located between the transparent conductive layer and the TFT array substrate. The front protection sheet is located on the front panel laminate. The back protection sheet is located below the TFT array substrate. The light blocking layer at least covers a lateral surface of the back protection sheet. The light source faces toward a lateral surface of the front panel laminate, a lateral surface of the TFT array substrate, and the lateral surface of the back protection sheet.

Reflective display device

The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a substrate, a pixel array, a circuit bridge structure, a first trace region, a second trace region, and a display film layer. The pixel array is located on the substrate. The circuit bridge structure is located at one side of the pixel array. The first trace region is located between the pixel array and a first side of the circuit bridge structure. The second trace region is located at a second side opposite to the first side. The display film layer is located on the pixel array, and an orthogonal projection of the display film layer on the substrate is spaced apart from an orthogonal projection of the circuit bridge structure on the substrate.

Display device

A display device includes a display module and an optical film. The display module has a through hole. At least one optical film is located on the display module and has an alignment through hole aligned with the through hole and an alignment mark surrounding the alignment through hole.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

A method of manufacturing a flexible display device includes: forming an integrated circuit chip, a flexible printed circuit board and a frontplane laminate over a driving substrate; adhering a front protective layer over the frontplane laminate and the flexible printed circuit board, such that the front protective layer is in contact with the frontplane laminate, in which the front protective layer has a first opening corresponding to the integrated circuit chip; and filling a second adhesive into the first opening and covering an upper surface, a side surface or a combination thereof of the integrated circuit chip. A flexible display device is also provided.

Flexible display device and method of manufacturing the same

A flexible display device includes a TFT array substrate, a flexible printed circuit board, a front panel laminate, a first protection sheet having a through hole, and waterproof glue. The flexible printed circuit board is disposed on an edge of a first surface of the TFT array substrate, and extends outward from the edge of the first surface. The front panel laminate is located on the first surface of the TFT array substrate. The first protection sheet covers the front panel laminate, the first surface of the TFT array substrate, and the flexible printed circuit board. A portion of the flexible printed circuit board and a portion of the TFT array substrate are located in the through hole. The waterproof glue is located in the through hole and covers the portion of the flexible printed circuit board and the portion of the TFT array substrate.

Flexible display device and manufacturing method thereof

A flexible display device includes a substrate and a border unit. The substrate has a display area and a border area that surrounds the display area. The border unit is located in the border area and includes a first metal layer on the substrate, an insulation layer covering the first metal layer and the substrate, a second metal layer on the insulation layer, a protection layer covering the second metal layer and the insulation layer, a semiconductor layer between the insulation layer and the protection layer, a planarization layer covering the protection layer, and a third metal layer on the planarization layer. The third metal layer has a first part, a second part, and a third part that is between and physically connected to the first and second parts. A notch is defined by the first, second, and third parts.

Flexible display device and border unit thereof

A line array structure is provided, including long wirings, short wirings, first dummy wirings and connection lines. The substrate has an elongated region, a protruding region and a drive connection region. The elongated region has first sides and second sides that respectively extend along a long-side and short-side directions. The protruding region protrudes out from the first side and is connected to the elongated region. The drive connection region is connected to the second side of the elongated region. The long wirings are disposed in the elongated region and extend to the drive connection region. The short wirings are disposed in the protruding region and are parallel with the long wirings. The first dummy wirings are disposed in the elongated region and extend to the drive connection region. Each of the short wirings is electrically connected to a corresponding first dummy wiring through one first connection lines.

Display panel, pixel array substrate and line array structure

An electrophoretic display apparatus, adapted to be electrically connected with an external circuit, includes a driving array substrate, an electrophoretic display layer, and a first optical adhesive layer. The electrophoretic display layer includes a flexible substrate and a display medium layer. The flexible substrate has a configuration area and a bonding area. The external circuit is disposed between the flexible substrate and the driving array substrate. The external circuit is located in the bonding area and extends outside the driving array substrate. The display medium layer is disposed between the flexible substrate and the driving array substrate and located in the configuration area. The first optical adhesive layer is disposed between the display medium layer and the driving array substrate. A thickness of the external circuit is smaller than a sum of a thickness of the display medium layer and a thickness of the first optical adhesive layer.

Electrophoretic display apparatus

A pixel array includes multiple first signal lines, multiple second signal lines, multiple third signal lines and multiple pixel structures. The first signal lines are arranged in parallel. The second signal lines are arranged in parallel and intersecting with the first signal lines to demarcate a plurality of first unit regions and a plurality of second unit regions. Each of the second signal lines electrically connects to one of the first signal lines, the second signal lines are arranged in different pitches, and an area of each of the second unit regions is smaller than an area of each of the first unit regions, and the first unit regions and the second unit regions are alternately arranged. An orthographic projection of each of the pixel electrodes on the substrate is non-overlapped with or incompletely overlapped with an orthographic projection of the corresponding second signal lines on the substrate.

Pixel Array

A display device includes a cover plate, a display, a frame, a flexible circuit board and a water-proof glue. The display is disposed on the cover plate. The frame is disposed on a periphery area of the cover plate and surrounds the display to form a trench. The flexible circuit board includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is attached to the front surface of the active array substrate, and the second portion is fastened to the cover plate in the trench. The water-proof glue fills the trench.

Display device with water-proof glue

A pixel array including first signal lines, second signal lines, active elements, pixel electrodes and selection lines is provided. The second signal lines and the selection lines are intersected with the first signal lines respectively. Each first signal line has a bridge point at an intersection with the one of the selection lines. At least one of the selection lines is disposed between two neighboring second signal lines. Amounts of the first signal lines and the selection lines are larger than an amount of the second signal lines respectively, and an amount of second signal lines intersected with a connection line between the bridge point of the ifirst signal line and the bridge point of the (i+1)first signal line is one, i=1 to N, and N is the amount of the first signal lines.
