A smart antenna comprises a dipole antenna, a first reflector unit, a first diode, a first RF choke unit and a second RF choke unit. The dipole antenna has a first radiating portion and a second radiating portion. The first radiating portion is used for feeding an RF signal and a DC voltage signal controlling the conduction status of the first diode simultaneously. The first reflector unit is disposed on a first side of the dipole antenna and parallel to the dipole antenna. A first section and a second section of the first reflector unit are electrically connected by the first diode. The first RF choke unit is electrically connected between the first radiating portion and the first section of the first reflector unit. The second RF choke unit is electrically connected between the second radiating portion and the second section of the first reflector unit.

Smart antenna and wireless device having the same

An antenna device includes a dual-band cross dipole antenna including four radiators each extending from an axis toward a plane and including a first radiating element and a second radiating element for transmitting or receiving radio signals of a first band and a second band, wherein a plane where each radiator is located is perpendicular to a plane where a neighboring radiator is located; and a reflecting board disposed on a side of the dual-band cross dipole antenna, wherein a location and a shape of the reflecting board relate to wavelengths corresponding to signals of the first band and the second band, such that the dual-band cross dipole antenna is directional in the first band and omnidirectional in the second band.

Polarized antenna

An antenna system includes a system ground plane, a first antenna array, and a second antenna array. The first antenna array includes a first antenna element, a second antenna element, a third antenna element, and a fourth antenna element. The second antenna array includes a fifth antenna element, a sixth antenna element, a seventh antenna element, and an eighth antenna element. The second antenna array is disposed between the first antenna array and the system ground plane. The first antenna array has a first polarization direction. The second antenna array has a second polarization direction. The first polarization direction and the second polarization direction are orthogonal to each other.

Antenna system

A switchable antenna includes a substrate, a first antenna element, a second antenna element, a first switch element, a second switch element, a first radiating portion on an upper surface of the substrate including a first center, a first bend section and a second bend section, and a second radiating portion on an lower surface of the substrate including a second center, a third bend section and a fourth bend section. The third and the fourth bend sections extending from the second center are respectively disposed corresponding to the first and the second bend sections extending from the first center. The first and the second antenna elements on the upper surface are disposed corresponding to the first and the second bend sections. The first and the second switch elements are respectively configured to switch the first and the second antenna elements between a reflector and a parasitic radiating element.

Switchable antenna

A wideband antenna is disclosed. The wideband antenna includes a ground element electrically connected to a ground, a feed element for feeding in a Radio-Frequency signal, a radiation element electrically connected to the feed element for radiating the Radio-Frequency signal, and at least one meta-material structure electrically connected between the radiation element and the ground element.

Wideband antenna and related radio-frequency device

A capacitive loop antenna is disclosed. The capacitive loop antenna comprises a shorting-to-ground terminal, for providing grounding, a feeding terminal, for receiving a first radio frequency feeding signal, and a first capacitive loop. The first capacitive loop comprises a first connection element, a first radiator, comprising an end electrically connected to the feeding terminal via the first connection element, to feed the first radio frequency feeding signal to the first radiator, a second connection element, and a second radiator, comprising an end electrically connected to the shorting-to-ground terminal via the second connection element. A first section of another end of the first radiator is capacitively coupled with the second radiator.
