A method for packing includes a preparing step, a moving step, a first time feeding strap step, an encircling article step, a first time tightening step, a second time feeding strap step, a manual inserting step, a second time tightening step, and a strap cutting and bonding step. A strap feeding and retreating control unit of the strapping machine is controlled to tighten the packing strap tightly around the article, and then the strap feeding and retreating control unit is controlled to automatically pull out the packing strap, so that two insertion spaces are created between the packing strap and the article. The two right-angle pad elements can be respectively inserted into the two insertion spaces. Then, the packing strap is tightened to tightly wrap around the article and the two right-angle pad elements. Next, the packing strap is cut and bonded to complete the packing action of the article.

Method for packing an article

The present invention is a pallet strapping device having a platform, a lower guiding strap portion, an upper guiding strap portion, a first frame portion, a second frame portion and a central guiding strap portion. By controlling a first guiding strap portion, a second guiding strap portion, and the central guiding strap portion that is moved to a retracted position, a first guiding strap circulation path can be formed. In addition, by controlling the first frame portion, the second frame portion and the central guiding strap portion that is moved to an extended position, a second guiding strap circulation path is formed. The present invention is capable of switching to different strapping paths corresponding to different pallets for strapping. Besides, it is quite convenient to conduct strapping tasks under the condition that the corresponding pallets is not needed to depart from the platform of the pallet strapping device.

Pallet strapping device

The present invention includes a housing, multiple conveyors, and a driving system. The conveyors are provided for a working object to be moved on the conveyors. The driving system has a horizontal moving portion and a vertical moving portion. As the horizontal moving portion moves from the second position toward the first position, when a first detector detects a rear edge of the working object, a controller is able to stop the horizontal moving portion and to set an actual pushing position. Then, it can reset that the horizontal only can move between the actual pushing position and the second position for shortening a moving time and a moving distance of the horizontal moving portion. So, this invention can shorten the horizontal moving time of the horizontal moving portion. It can shorten the vertical moving time. Plus, it can increase the total processing efficiency.

Pusher system for a strapping machine

A strapping machine having a movable working assembly includes comprises a machine body, a chute, and a movable working assembly. This machine body contains a storing space. The chute has an upper chute portion and a lower chute portion. The movable working assembly which is in the storing space includes a horizontal movable portion, a vertical movable portion, a working device, and an operation linkage mechanism. When the vertical movable portion moves to the move-down position, the lower chute portion is separated from the upper chute portion. Then, the movable working assembly can be moved out for easy maintenance. So, it is quick and easy to repair any internal device or part inside the strapping machine. The repairer does not need to stoop or squat down for repairing it. In addition, it saves strength and time to move out the working device or related part.

A cross-strapping device includes a base, a lateral strapping mechanism, and a longitudinal strapping mechanism. This base has a working surface. The lateral strapping mechanism has a lateral chute, a first strap supplying assembly, and a first sealing/cutting assembly. A first strap is guided by the lateral chute and is strapped around the object to finish a lateral strapping procedure. The longitudinal strapping mechanism has a longitudinal guider, a second strap supplying assembly, and a second sealing/sealing assembly. A second strap is guided by the longitudinal guider and be strapped around the object to finish a longitudinal strapping procedure. So, this object is placed on a fixed working surface without rotation. The lateral strapping procedure and the longitudinal strapping procedure are completed on the same working surface. Hence, both the lateral strapping procedure and the longitudinal strapping procedure can be done in only one machine. In addition, the turn table is not required.

Cross-strapping device

A strapping machine includes a machine body, a strap chute, a strap supplying device, and a controlling device. The machine body has a working surface. The strap chute includes an access guiding portion and an exit guiding portion. The controlling device can control the access guiding portion and the exit guiding portion moving to suitable heights independently. So, an object to can be moved in for a strapping work and then be moved out. Hence, the vertical moving distances of the access guiding portion and the exit guiding portion can be adjusted independently. In addition, it can save the waiting time.

A device having a liftable strap supply reel includes a housing, a liftable mechanism and a pushing force generator. The liftable mechanism is pivoted on the housing and it has a first arm that is disposed with a rotatable strap supply reel. The liftable mechanism contains a home position, a critical position, and a lift-up position. When this lifting mechanism is positioned at the lift-up position, the pushing member generates a force to create a torque so that the strap supply reel stays at a height near a waist of a human. So, the strap supply reel can be lifted up to a height approximately near a waist of a human. It can be operated by one hand. In addition, it is convenient to repair or replace the strap.

An easy-maintenance strap guide system of a strapping machine includes a board, a driving set, a first rod, a second rod, a first matching portion, a second matching portion, and an engaging element. The driving set includes an advance roller portion and a retreat roller portion for conveying a strap. When the engaging element disengages with the first rod, the first rod rotates and makes the second rod, the first matching and the second matching portion moving. Hence, a maintenance space is formed. Thus, the maintenance work can be done quickly without the use of tools. It saves the detaching and assembling time. Plus, it can release automatically due to the gravity.

An expand-and-constrict type band-guiding device for a strapping machine includes an expand-and-constrict unit, an elastic coiled rod, a receiving member, a roller unit, a motor and a clamp device. The clamp device clamps the end of a strap band, and the motor drives the roller unit for moving the elastic coiled rod to push outward an elongate shift member. Then the strap band with its end pushed to extend by the shift member and then released by the clamp device in due time, with the end of the strap band pushed to the other side from under a storage board for an operator of the strapping machine to catch the strap band.

A strapping machine automatically adjusting the strap tension includes a sensor to interact with two sense members fixed on a subordinate wheel of an advance and retreat device, which consists of a main wheel and the subordinate wheel. The sensor and the sense members sense the advanced and the retreated rounds of the subordinate wheel when a strap is moved through a gap between the main wheel and the subordinate wheel. Then sensor sends a signal of the length practically needed to bind the strap around an object to a signal processor, which calculates and records and sends the difference cardinality to a controller. Then the controller controls operation and stopping of the motor of a strap tension device according to the signal so that the strap machine can automatically adjust the strap tension for binding the strap.

Then the gap between the friction head and a stationary friction head of the fusing device can be changed to suit to different thickness of packing bands so that pressure against the packing band may be adjusted for the thickness of a packing band, with the gap between the two friction heads freely adjustable.

A strapping machine includes a machine body with a package-strapping space. A strap is fed to the package-strapping space. A spring-loaded swing arm is pivoted to the machine body, and is associated with a rotating shaft via a cam unit such that rotation of the shaft results in turning of the swing arm relative to the machine body. An electrically operated clamp unit is mounted movably on the swing arm, and is movable relative to a strap passage in the swing arm. A delay circuit is electrically coupled to a detecting device and the clamp unit. When the detecting device detects a first position of the swing arm, the delay circuit will actuate the clamp unit to move from a releasing position to a clamping position after a preset delay time. When the detecting device detects a second position of the swing arm, the clamp unit is immediately actuated to move from the clamping position to the releasing position.
