A prediction processing system includes a processing circuit and a reference data buffer. The processing circuit performs a first inter prediction operation upon a first prediction block in a frame to generate a first inter prediction result, and further performs a second inter prediction operation upon a second prediction block during a first period. The reference data buffer buffers a reference data derived from the first inter prediction result. The processing circuit further fetches the reference data from the reference data buffer, and performs a non-inter prediction operation according to at least the reference data during a second period, wherein the second period overlaps the first period.

A video processing apparatus implemented in a chip includes an on-chip prediction buffer and a processing circuit. The on-chip prediction buffer is shared by a plurality of coding tools for prediction, and is used to store reference data. The processing circuit supports the coding tools for prediction, reads a plurality of first reference data from the on-chip prediction buffer as input data of a first coding tool that is included in the coding tools and enabled by the processing circuit, and writes output data of the first coding tool enabled by the processing circuit into the on-chip prediction buffer as a plurality of second reference data.

A motion vector refinement apparatus includes a first storage device, a motion vector predictor (MVP) derivation circuit, and a decoder side motion vector refinement (DMVR) circuit. The DMVR circuit performs a DMVR operation to derive a first motion vector difference (MVD) for the first MVP. The MVP derivation circuit starts performing the new task before the DMVR circuit finishes deriving the first MVD for the first MVP.

The operating method comprises the following steps of: using the motion sensor to generate a motion sensed data; causing the corresponding virtual device to generate a derived data according to the motion sensed data, wherein the derived data indicates an interaction relationship between the virtual device and the operated object; and when the virtual device separated from the operated object under the interaction relationship, moving the operated object in accordance with the derived data.

A motion vector (MV) projection method includes generating motion field motion vectors (MFMVs) for a first portion of a current frame by applying MV projection to MVs of a portion of each of reference frames and storing the MFMVs of the first portion of the current frame into an MFMV buffer, and generating MFMVs for a second portion of the current frame by applying MV projection to MVs of a portion of each of the reference frames and storing the MFMVs of the second portion of the current frame into the MFMV buffer. The second portion does not overlap the first portion. Before generating the MFMVs for the second portion of the current frame is done, at least one of the MFMVs of the first portion is read from the MFMV buffer and involved in motion vector determination of at least one coding block included in the first portion.

The processor determines a first plurality of acceleration data samples and a second plurality of acceleration data samples from the plurality of acceleration data based on two different predetermined sample sizes and a moving average algorithm to correspondingly calculate a first plurality of sample averages and a second plurality of sample averages, obtains a plurality of sample average differences between the first and the second pluralities of sample averages, analyzes the plurality of sample average differences based on a predetermined check algorithm to obtain a derived resultant value, and performs a data comparison between the derived resultant value and a predetermined threshold value to generate a comparison result.

A motion recognition device includes a sensing unit and a processing unit. The sensing unit generates a sense signal in response to a body motion occurring at a specific position on a user's body, wherein the sense signal includes a first sense signal portion and a second sense signal portion different from the first sense signal portion, and the body motion belongs to a motion segment of a motion type. The processing unit processes the sense signal to generate a motion parameter signal structure including a fusion signal of the first and the second sense signal portions, and recognizes the specific position to determine an effective reference signal for recognition of the motion type based on the motion parameter signal structure.
