A tire pressure monitoring system and tire pressure detector setting apparatus for tractor-trailer are disclosed. The tractor-trailer has a tractor and a trailer having a plurality of wheels, respectively. The tire pressure monitoring system includes a plurality of tire pressure detectors and a monitoring device. The tire pressure detectors are disposed on each of the wheels, detecting the tire pressure status of each wheel and generating a tire pressure information. Each tire pressure detector has a wheel code corresponding to one of the wheels, respectively. The monitoring device is disposed on the tractor for receiving the tire pressure information and the wheel codes of the corresponding tire pressure detector. When the tire pressure information and the wheel code are transmitted to the monitoring device, the monitoring device accurately monitors the tire pressure status of each wheel.

A multi-frequency processing device of a tire pressure detector and processing method thereof are provided. The device includes an oscillator providing an oscillation signal as a basis frequency; a microcontroller storing a first and a second frequency information; a phase lock module receiving the oscillation signal and generating a first and a second target frequency according to the first frequency information and the second frequency information; and a transmission module receiving a data from the microcontroller in a first mode, and generating a signal frame formed of the first and second target frequency carrying the data, so as to transmit the signal frame. Therefore, the transmission frequency does not have to be set in advance, improving the convenience of usage.

A data transmitting device capable of configuring different operating frequencies for use by a tire pressure monitoring detector includes: a standard oscillator; a phase locked loop including a phase frequency comparator, a filter, and a pressure-controlling oscillator; a microcontrol unit electrically connected to the standard oscillator and the phase frequency comparator and adapted to store a first ratio and a second ratio; and a signal output unit electrically connected to the output end of the pressure-controlling oscillator and the microcontrol unit. The microcontrol unit allows a user to select and send the first or second ratio to the phase frequency comparator. The phase locked loop generates a target frequency signal according to the first or second ratio selected by the user. The microcontrol unit sends a data to the signal output unit, and the signal output unit outputs the data according to the frequency of the target frequency signal.

A TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensor setting method is disclosed to use a setting tool for selecting the ID codes of multiple TPMS sensors and burning a communication protocol into the multiple selected TPMS sensors at a time, significantly shortening the operation time.

The tire pressure sensor module contains a casing, a nozzle, a sleeve element, a fastening element, and a two-way tire information transmission and sensory system inside the casing. The casing has a trough and an air opening. The nozzle contains a nozzle mouth and a nozzle base. The nozzle base is joined to the casing, and the mouth is threaded through the sleeve element. The nozzle and the sleeve element are secured to the casing by the fastening element through the trough. The two-way tire information transmission and sensory system contains a battery, a micro-controller circuit, a low-power-consumption Bluetooth wireless transceiver circuit, a boosting/regulating circuit, a pressure sensor, an operation amplifier, a gravity sensor, a temperature sensor, and an antenna.

A TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensor input method is disclosed and performed by: using a setting tool to read in the ID of the TPMS sensor subject to the set position, and then compiling the ID of the TPMS sensor and the position to be set into a set code, and then transmitting the set code to a receiver host for enabling the receiver host to store the data of the ID of the TPMS sensor and the position of the TPMS sensor.

A TPMS setting tool includes a housing carrying a display unit and an input device on the outside and a circuit board and a power supply device on the inside, the power supply device and the circuit board being electrically coupled together to provide the TPMS setting tool with the necessary working power supply. The housing has a receptacle provided at one side thereof and a connection port with multiple pins mounted inside the receptacle for the connection of a TPMS, enabling the desired communication protocol and ID code to be written into the inserted TPMS.

A tire status receiving system includes a first signal converter module including a first microcontroller unit, a wireless receiver unit for receiving a wireless signal from a tire status sensor and providing the wireless signal to the first microcontroller unit for enabling the first microcontroller unit to convert the wireless signal into a code for information interchange for output through an output unit being electrically coupled to the first microcontroller unit, and a second signal converter module including a second microcontroller unit, a memory unit for storing tire status sensor ID codes and predetermined alarm threshold values, an interface unit for communication with the output unit to receive data, a power supply unit to provide the necessary working electricity, and a communication port electrically coupled to the second microcontroller unit and having installed therein signal transmission circuit and a charging circuit.
