A small form-factor pluggable transceiver is coupled to a cable connector and a network device. The small form-factor pluggable transceiver includes a first connection port, a conversion unit, a transceiver unit, and a second connection port. The conversion unit includes a bandwidth indication pin, and the transceiver unit includes a detection pin. The transceiver unit operates in a normal state based on providing a first voltage level by the detection pin, and operates in an abnormal state based on providing the second voltage level by the detection pin. The bandwidth indication pin indicates that a signal source received by the first connection port is a copper cable-type signal source, and indicates that a rate of the signal source is an invalid rate. The detection pin provides the first voltage level based on the invalid rated by being coupled to a ground point.

Small form-factor pluggable transceiver

A network connector includes an insulative seat, conductive terminals, a control circuit module and a ground sheet. The control circuit module includes a circuit board and an electronic element. The circuit board includes first contacts and second contacts. The insulative seat is fixed on the circuit board. Each conductive terminal is electrically connected with each first contact. The electronic element is fixed on the circuit board and includes conductive pins. Each conductive pin is electrically connected with each second contact. The ground sheet is electrically connected to the circuit board and includes a positioning portion and an arm portion. The positioning portion is disposed between the first contact and the second contact. The arm portion is extended toward the first contact and passes through a position of the first contact.

A circuit element protection apparatus applied to a signal input terminal, the circuit element protection apparatus includes a slave processing unit, a main processing unit, a first soft start unit and a second soft start unit. The first soft start unit receives a signal from the signal input terminal, and is used for noise filtering on the signal and delayed a transmission of the signal to the slave processing unit. The second soft start unit receives the signal from the signal input terminal, and is used for noise filtering on the signal and delayed the transmission of the signal to the main processing unit. The present disclosure further includes a protection method for circuit elements.

Circuit element protection apparatus and protection method for circuit elements

A coupling method of an optical module is provided. A circuit board with a light emitting element emitting an output light and an output lens are provided. The light emitting element is covered by the output lens. The output lens is connected to an output meter. The output lens and the circuit board are moved relatively. An intensity of the output light is measured by the output meter. An output qualified region is defined based on a region where the output lens is located when the intensity of the output light is greater than an output requirement. The aforementioned steps are repeated for a predetermined number of times. The output lens and the circuit board are moved relatively in an intersection area of the output qualified regions. The output lens is fixed on the circuit board when the intensity of the output light is greater than the output requirement.

Coupling method of optical module

An extinction ratio testing system () includes a microcontroller (), an extinction ratio tester (), and a thermostat (). The microcontroller () controls the thermostat () to maintain an optical transceiver module () at a predetermined high temperature, and then the microcontroller () controls the extinction ratio tester () to test an extinction ratio of the optical transceiver module (). If the extinction ratio is lower than a standard extinction ratio, the microcontroller () controls the optical transceiver module () to increase a laser operating current () of the optical transceiver module () to increase the extinction ratio.

A cable connector includes a case, a fastener and an unlocking member. At least one side of the case has a texture area with a guide surface which is a smooth surface. The fastener is attached on the case and extended with a flexible arm. Part of the flexible arm is attached to the guide surface. The unlocking member includes a handle and a pushing block connected to the handle. The pushing block is sandwiched between the case and the flexible arm. When the unlocking member is pulled, the pushing block moves along the guide surface to separate the flexible arm from the case. When the unlocking member is released, the pushing block is pressed by the flexible arm to slide and return along the guide surface. The pushing block may return to original position without elasticity of a spring to simplify the structure and save the costs.

A signal processing method of an optical transceiver is provided and has the steps of: providing a receiver optical subassembly, a transmitter optical subassembly, an amplifying module and an identifying module, the amplifying module is electrically connected to the receiver optical subassembly and the transmitter optical subassembly, the identifying module is electrically connected to the receiver optical subassembly and the amplifying module; receiving an input optical signal via the receiver optical subassembly; periodically detecting the input optical signal by the identifying module to identify, setting the amplifier module at a high-speed mode if a clock and data recovery signal is attached, amplifying the input optical signal to generate an output optical signal and outputting through the transmitter optical subassembly; setting the signal amplifier module at a low-speed mode, and amplifying the input optical signal to generate an output optical signal and outputting through the transmitter optical subassembly.
