A power supply apparatus for wirelessly supplying power to one or more terminals includes a signal transceiver configured to receive a charging state message indicating a charging state from the one or more terminals, a display unit configured to display the charging state of each of the one or more terminals based on the charging state message, an interface unit configured to receive a charging control signal for controlling a charging operation of each of the one or more terminals, a controller configured to control the signal transceiver to transmit a power reception control signal for controlling whether the one or more terminals receive power by analyzing the charging control signal for the one or more terminals and a power supplier configured to wirelessly supply power to the one or more terminals under a control of the controller.

Apparatus and method for wireless power transmission

A method for remotely controlling a home device in a mobile terminal is provided. The method includes receiving a chat message input to the mobile terminal for controlling at least one home device through an instant messenger application installed in the mobile terminal, and sending the chat message to a messenger server. The sent chat message is converted into a control command, which is sent to the home device.

Method and apparatus for remotely controlling home device in home network system

A method and an electronic device for controlling a topology are provided. The method includes forming a star topology by directly connecting the electronic device to at least one node, and transmitting and receiving signals with neighboring nodes including the at least one node and determining whether to form the star topology or an extended star topology with the neighboring nodes based on a result of the transmitting and receiving, wherein the star topology is a topology in which the electronic device is directly connected to the neighboring nodes, and wherein the extended star topology is a topology in which the electronic device is directly connected to the neighboring nodes via an already connected node.

Method and apparatus for controlling topology

Methods and apparatuses are provided for operating multi-type beacons by a first terminal connected with a second terminal through wireless communication. The first terminal receives, from the second terminal, information required for allocating a beacon type. The first terminal selects a beacon type for the second terminal from predetermined beacon types based on at least one variable in the information. The at least one variable includes at least one of a channel condition of a communication link between the first terminal and the second terminal, a traffic period of the communication link, and a security level of transmission and reception data. Each variable includes a priority. The first terminal allocates a beacon to the second terminal based on the priority of each variable. The beacon has the beacon type. The beacon allocated to the second terminal is transmitted from the first terminal to the second terminal.

A method for controlling access between home devices and servers in a home network system is provided. The method includes determining whether first access of the home devices to each of the servers and second access of the servers to each of the home devices is restricted, and controlling the first access and second access based on respective access rights established according to the determination.

A self-organizing resource access method is provided for transmitting data by self-organizing resource access by each individual node in a Local Area Network (LAN) communication environment where at least two nodes exchange data with each other. A first node listens to at least one data transmission of at least one other node connected to the LAN, and adjusts a data transmission start time of the first node in accordance with a data transmission start time of the at least one other node so that the data transmission start time of the first node does not overlap the data transmission start time of the at least one other node. The first node transmits data to the at least one other node at the adjusted data transmission start time.
