A heat exchanger for a motor vehicle may include a tube block and a flange. The tube block may multiple first medium channels and multiple second medium channels. The first and the second medium channels may extend from an inlet of the tube block to an outlet of the tube block. A medium to be cooled may flow through the first medium channels. A cooling medium may flow through the second medium channels. The flange may be configured to receive the tube block about the outlet in a fluid-tight manner. The flange may be plate-like and may have a surrounding bolting region that may be formed about the tube block.

Heat exchanger

A crimping frame or crimping base for a charge air cooler may include a circumferential raised rim including a plurality of crimping slots. The plurality of crimping slots may each include two longitudinal sides and two narrow sides. The two longitudinal sides may be disposed opposite one another and may extend parallel to the rim. The two narrow sides may be stiffened via a bent reinforcement. The bent reinforcement and the rim may be structured as a single piece.

Crimping frame or crimping base

A heat exchanger having a tube-fin block that is closed by two collecting tanks, whereby the ends of the tubes engage in a bottom of the particular collecting tank and the bottom is closed with a cover. A partition wall secured to the cover is formed transverse to a longitudinal extension of the collecting tank and divides an interior space of the collecting tank into two subchambers. The heat exchanger, which prevents great structural changes for compensating temperature-induced stresses, a first stress decoupling device is formed in the bottom and/or a second stress decoupling device in the area of the partition wall in the cover of at least one collecting tank.

The application relates to a heat exchanger having a block with ribs and rectangular tubes. The block is arranged between a first collecting box and a second collecting box. Each collecting box is closed off by a base which has eyelets for receiving the tubes, and a trough-shaped circulating section for receiving the collecting box extends along the edge of the base. The base has an elevated contact region on at least one end face for the tube which lies directly opposite the end face in order to allow a stable structure of the heat exchanger, collecting boxes, and block.

An intake manifold is provided that includes an integrated charge air cooler and a housing having a first housing part and a second housing part connected thereto. The charge air flows into the housing via an inlet and flows out of the housing via an outlet. The charge air cooler is disposed in the housing and is permeated by the charge air on the path from the inlet to the outlet. Also, the charge air cooler is completely enclosed by the housing, except for passages for passing a cooling fluid, and the charge air cooler is elastically supported relative to the housing by at least one elastic bearing element in particular disposed on a collector of the charge air cooler.

A device for exhaust-gas recirculation for an internal combustion engine is provided that includes a flange for attaching to a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine. Combustion air flows from a passage region of the flange directly into at least one intake duct of a cylinder, and an inlet for an inflow of recirculated exhaust gas into the combustion air is provided. The inlet for the inflow of the recirculated exhaust gas is arranged on the flange.
