An example apparatus includes a camera cover connected to a housing; a linkage mechanism actuated by the camera cover; and a camera connected to the linkage mechanism. The camera is retained in the housing during a fingerprint-sensing mode. The camera is to extend above the camera cover in a media-capturing mode via the linkage mechanism based on a sliding movement of the camera cover. A light source may be provided under the camera cover to emit light. A lens may direct the light towards the camera cover. The camera cover may be transparent to permit the light to be directed towards a fingerprint positioned over the camera cover. The camera may be positioned under the camera cover to capture an image of the fingerprint. The camera cover may be positioned to retain the camera under the camera cover prior to slidable movement of the camera cover.

Linkage mechanisms for cameras

Examples disclosed herein provide a retractable structure for a computing device. The computing device can include a base member and a hinge assembly to couple a display member to the base member. The structure can be disposed within the base member such that the structure can be retractable within a rear sidewall of the base member and extendable from the rear sidewall when the hinge assembly is in an open position with respect to the base member.

In one example, systems for a device antennas can include a system, comprising a first base comprising a display, and a second base connected to the first base by a hinge, the second base comprising: a housing comprising a first material for a first area of the housing and a second material for a second area of the housing, wherein the second area of the housing is closer to the hinge than the first area; and a printed circuit board (PCB) coupled to an antenna, wherein the antenna is enclosed within the housing of the second base within the second area.

Device antennas

The disclosure relates to a hinge assembly () and a tablet-notebook hybrid computer (). The hinge assembly () comprises a hinge () for pivotably connecting a base member () of the tablet-notebook hybrid computer () to a tablet member () of the tablet-notebook hybrid computer (); an actuator () fixed to the hinge (); and a support member () pivotably connected to the tablet member () via a pivot shaft (). When the tablet member () rotates towards an open position with respect to the base member (), the support member () is actuated by the actuator (), rotates away from the tablet member (), and provides addition support for the tablet member ().

Hinge assembly

A support stand leg is pivotally supported by a leaf spring relative to a back cover of a computer device or a computer device case. The support stand leg is pivotal between a retracted position against the back cover and an extended position. The leaf spring urges the support stand leg towards the retracted position.

An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a base housing, display housing, and locking mechanism. The base housing includes a keyboard, and the display housing is pivotably coupled to the base housing. The locking mechanism is to lock key movement of the keyboard based on the display housing being pivoted according to a first range. The locking mechanism is to unlock key movement based on the display housing being pivoted according to a second range.

A latch structure disposed in a casing having a first opening and a second opening includes a pressing member, an elastic member, a hook member and a guiding member. The pressing member is disposed in the first opening. The elastic member has one side connected with the casing and the other side connected with the pressing member. The hook member pivoted with the pressing member has a hook portion and a protrusion. The guiding member has a multi-route circle groove, which has a first route, a second route, a third route, and a fourth route in turn. A step exists between two adjacent routes. The moved pressing member moves the protrusion along the first route, the second route, the third route and the fourth route such that the hook portion passes through the second opening to be exposed from the casing or be hidden inside the casing.
