A light combining module includes a first light source, a second light source, a first dichroic mirror, and an alignment structure. The first light source is used to output a first light. The second light source is used to output a second light. The first dichroic mirror is disposed on a transmission path of the first light and the second light, wherein the first light is incident on the second light source via the first dichroic mirror. The alignment structure adjusts the position of the second light source.

Light combining module

A lens adjusting mechanism including a base, a first fastening component, a first bracket, a second fastening component, a second bracket, and a lens is provided. The first fastening component is movably connected to the base along a first straight direction. The first bracket is movably connected to the base along the first straight direction through the first fastening component. The second fastening component is connected to the first bracket. The second bracket is movably connected to the first bracket along a second straight direction through the second fastening component, wherein the first straight direction is different from the second straight direction. The lens is disposed on the second bracket.

Lens adjusting mechanism

A light emitting apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The light emitting apparatus has a semiconductor device capable of emitting light, and the control method includes the following descriptions. A driving power of the semiconductor device is reduced to an ideal power stepwise and gradually. After every time the driving power of the semiconductor device is reduced, the semiconductor device continually emits the light by the reduced driving power within a predetermined time.

Light emitting apparatus and control method thereof

A heat dissipation module includes a heat-absorbing unit, a first heat pipe, a second heat pipe, and a heat-dissipating unit. The heat-absorbing unit is adapted to contact the heat source thermally. The first heat pipe has a first heat-absorbing section being connected to the heat-absorbing unit and a first heat-dissipating section. The second heat pipe has a second heat-absorbing section being connected to the heat-absorbing unit and a second heat-dissipating section. The heat-dissipating unit includes a first fin assembly and a second fin assembly. The first heat-dissipating section is connected to the first fin assembly along a first extending direction, the second heat-dissipating section is connected to the second fin assembly along a second extending direction, the first extending direction and second extending direction are oblique to each other, and a part of the first fin assembly and a part of the second fin assembly are inset to each other.

Heat dissipation module and projection apparatus using the same

A method for controlling a dual lamp module applied to a projection apparatus is provided. The dual lamp module includes a first lamp and a second lamp. The method for controlling a dual lamp module includes providing a first operating power to the first lamp, and then determining whether the first lamp is turned on or not. If the first lamp fails to be turned on, stopping providing the first operating power to the first lamp, and providing a second operating power to the second lamp. The second operating power is greater than the first operating power.

An optoelectronic semiconductor package for packaging a heat source capable of emitting light includes a base, a seal member, and a plurality of heat-dissipation elements. The base carries and touches the heat source and has a plurality of openings formed thereon, and the seal member is used to seal the heat source on the base. Each of the heat-dissipation elements is inserted in one of the corresponding openings, and the heat-dissipation element placed in the corresponding opening is deformed to result in a tight coupling between the heat-dissipation element and the base.

Optoelectronic semiconductor package and method for attaching heat dissipation element thereto

An illumination module including a first light-emitting element, a first heat dissipation element, a first heat conducting unit, a second light-emitting element, a second heat dissipation element, and a second heat conducting unit is provided. The first light-emitting element is capable of emitting a first color light beam. The first heat conducting unit is connected between the first light-emitting element and the first heat dissipation element. The second light-emitting element is capable of emitting a second color light beam. The second heat conducting unit is connected between the second light-emitting element and the second heat dissipation element. The first heat dissipation element and the second heat dissipation element are disposed separately. The first heat conducting unit and the second heat conducting unit are also disposed separately. The heat dissipation characteristic of the illumination module is better. A projection apparatus having the illumination module is also provided.

A heat-dissipating device includes a receptacle body having a lateral wall formed with an air vent; a lamp unit including a burner, a reflector covered the burner, a glass plate disposed in front of the reflector, the reflector cooperating with the glass plate to define an air inlet adjacent to the air vent and an air outlet spaced from the air vent; a fan unit mounted on the receptacle body for covering the air vent and for generating airflow to flow into the receptacle body; and a nozzle disposed within the receptacle body between the air vent and the lamp unit for guiding the airflow into the lamp unit.

Heat-dissipating device for a projection apparatus

An illumination system having a light source, an integration rod and a color wheel is provided. The light source is suitable for providing a light beam. The light integration rod and the color wheel are disposed in the transmission path of the light beam. The color wheel is disposed between the light source and the light integration rod. The light integration rod has a light input end adjacent to the color wheel and a light output end opposite the light input end. The light integration rod has two indentations at the light input end to form an airflow channel. The noise caused by the rotating color wheel is reduced through the airflow channel.

Illumination system

An image shifting module for shifting imaging positions of sub-images projected on a screen in each frame, and an optical projection device using the same are provided. The image shifting module includes a first vibration mechanism and a second vibration mechanism. The first vibration mechanism is disposed on the transmission path of the sub-images and shifts the sub-images projected on the screen by a first distance along a horizontal direction in each frame time. Moreover, the second vibration mechanism is disposed on the transmission path of the sub-images and shifts the sub-images projected on the screen by a second distance along a vertical direction in each frame time. Through this image shifting module, the image resolution can be increased.

Image shifting module and optical projection device

A projector comprises a light source, an Ultraviolet/Infrared Radiation (UV/IR) filter, a color wheel and means for guiding the light beam reflected by the color wheel toward directions away from the light source. The light source is for providing a light beam. The UV/IR filter is disposed with a tilt angle ranging from 13 degrees to 30 degrees. The color wheel for receiving the light beam transmits a primary color light beam of the light beam in a predetermined time section, and the other color light beam of the light beam is reflected by the color wheel. The means for guiding the light beam reflected by the color wheel toward directions away from the light source further guide a invisible light beam of the light beam reflected from the UV/IR filter.

Projector

A cooling device includes a printed circuit board having a hole, a light valve disposed on the front surface of the printed circuit board, and a thermal diffuser disposed on the back surface of the printed circuit board. Therefore, the thermal diffuser can contact the light valve through the whole, and directly receives heat from the light valve. Guided by partition wall and channels, a fan of the thermal diffuser sucks airflows into stream channels to fully exchange heat with diffuser fins for cooling the light valve, so that the cooling efficiency of the light valve can be increased. Then, the airflows blow and cool the printed circuit board to form an integrated cooling system.

A multi-axis adjusting apparatus includes a base seat, and an adjusting seat, a sliding seat and a rotating seat installed in a sequence on the base seat. A plurality of worm and worm gears are used to control the adjusting seat, and guiding slots and guiding pillars are used to cooperatively guide the sliding seat and the rotating seat. Besides, adjusting elements for controlling adjustments are screwed at one side of the seats. Whereby, an optical engine is driven to process multi-dimensional linear and rotating movements.
