A display device includes a housing. The housing includes a main body, a first fixed end, a second fixed end, a third fixed end, a fourth fixed end, and an opening area. The opening area is disposed at a lower half portion of the main body. The opening area has a first opening, a second opening, and a third opening. The first opening has an axis extending along a first direction substantially perpendicular to a bottom side of the main body. The second opening is disposed on a first side of the first opening and has an axis extending along a second direction having a first angle with respect to the first direction. The third opening is disposed on a second side of the first opening opposite to the first side and has an axis along a third direction having a second angle with respect to the first direction.

Display device

A back plate of a curved display device of the present invention includes a first plate, a second plate, and a plurality of spacer units. The first plate has a first periphery, and the second plate has a second periphery. The second periphery is disposed on the first plate, forming an interlayer space therebetween. The first periphery is fastened to the second periphery. The first plate and the second plate are curved corresponding to each other. The spacer units are distributed in the interlayer space and are connected to the first plate and the second plate.

A curved liquid crystal display device includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate, a liquid crystal layer, an upper polarizer film, a lower polarizer film and a plurality of patterned optical compensation films. The upper substrate has a first inner surface and a first outer surface. The lower substrate is disposed opposite to the upper substrate. The lower substrate has a second inner surface and a second outer surface. The liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The upper polarizer film is disposed on the first outer surface, and the lower polarizer film is disposed on the second outer surface. The patterned optical compensation films are disposed locally between the upper polarizer film and the lower polarizer film. Fast axis directions of at least two of the patterned optical compensation films are different from each other.

Curved liquid crystal display device

A display device includes a display panel having a first belt zone extending along a first side and a second belt zone extending along the first side and located at one side of the first belt zone opposite to the first side. The first belt zone has a first central part and a first inflexion part along an extending direction of the first side. The first central part and the first inflexion part are convex toward opposite directions. The second belt zone is bent in a manner different from the curvature distribution of the first belt zone.

A display device includes a display panel and a backlight module. The display panel is bent in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The backlight module is disposed on one side of the display panel.

Display device and method for manufacturing the same

A light guide plate positioning design in backlight module includes a base, a light guide plate, a first positioning unit, and a second positioning unit. The base has a sidewall extending along a second direction. The first positioning unit is disposed on the sidewall for contacting the light guide plate to resist a displacement of the light guide plate in a first direction, and further to position the light guide plate relatively to the sidewall in the first direction. The second positioning unit is disposed on the base for contacting the light guide plate to resist a displacement of the light guide plate in the second direction, and further to position the light guide plate in the second direction in a position along the side wall. The resistance of the first positioning unit to the displacement of the light guide plate is greater than that of the second positioning unit.
