Systems and methods are disclosed for creating and managing graph structures using models. A model-driven graph can include a first model node, a second model node, and a first model edge. The nodes can be defined according to at least respective schemas and at least one model utilizing the schemas. Elements can include data related to the aspects represented by the node elements. The edges can be defined according to at least schemas including data of nodes associated with the edge, with the relationships defined by edge schemas or the model(s).

Systems and methods for driving graph structure and behavior using models

A method provides for permission-based access to personal information over a communication network. The method includes entering specified owner personal information in an owner terminal, by an owner, to establish a secure owner profile, which is stored in an owner database. The method also includes entering specified user personal information in a user terminal, by a user, to establish a secure user profile, which is stored in a user database. The method further includes entering a user request in the user terminal requesting permission to receive a designated piece of the owner personal information from the secure owner profile. A server determines whether to approve the user request; and provides permission to use the designated piece of the owner personal information to the user over the communication network after the user request is approved by the server.

Method and system for providing permission-based access to sensitive information

Logging for an identified asset is coordinated when provided by applications implemented on multiple network elements. An indicator is set, prior to activity occurring related to the asset, to log information for the asset based on specified criteria. A first application implemented on a first network element generates, based on the indicator, a first detailed log for activity occurring related to the asset. A representation of the asset is passed to a downstream application implemented on a second network element. A second detailed log for activity occurring related to the asset is generated by the downstream application based on the indicator. The first detailed log is correlated with the second detailed log.

Selective logging based on set parameter

Logging for a transaction is coordinated when provided by applications implemented on multiple nodes. An indicator is set, prior to activity occurring related to a transaction, to log information for a transaction based on specified criteria. A first application implemented on a first node generates, based on the set indicator, a first detailed log for activity occurring related to the transaction. A transaction identifier and the indicator are passed to a downstream second application implemented on a second node. A second detailed log for activity occurring related to the transaction is generated by the downstream second application based on the set indicator. The first detailed log is correlated with the second detailed log.

Providing asset-based logging by setting a flag for an identified asset and a transaction includes generating a first detailed log for logging activity related to the identified asset and the transaction by a first application implemented on a first node. A transaction identifier, the flag, and any of the identified asset, information generated by the first application implemented on the first node, information provided to the first application implemented on the first node and a representation of the identified asset is passed to at least one downstream application implemented on at least one second node. Detailed logs generated by the at least one downstream application are correlated with the first detailed log.

Example methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture to control network element management traffic are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus to process an element management system (EMS) query message includes a receiver to receive the EMS query message from a managed network element, the EMS query message being redirected from an EMS server, a responder to select a pre-determined response to the EMS query message and discard EMS information contained in the EMS query message, wherein the pre-determined response is to delay the managed network element from resending the EMS query message to the EMS server for a time period, and a transmitter to send the pre-determined response to the managed network element.

Methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture to control network element management traffic

A method is provided for predicting and/or setting a lease time for packet-switched data communication network resources based on historical usage data of a network system provider subscriber. The packet-switched data communication network resources may include, but are not limited to, IP addresses and bandwidth. As a result, network resources may be allocated more prudently and network traffic may be reduced.

Automated adjustment of IP address lease time based on usage

A method and apparatus for allowing VoIP service providers to detect service address changes of IP service subscribers are disclosed. Specifically, when a power cycle, e.g., powering off and on, of a particular VoIP endpoint device, such as a Terminal Adaptor (TA) or a soft phone client, is detected, a service provider may assume that the service address of the subscriber has changed. Therefore, appropriate actions can be taken by the service provider to obtain the latest service address from the subscriber to ensure accurate service address information is available, e.g., in support of an emergency call through the particular VoIP endpoint device.

Method and apparatus for detecting subscriber service address change

A method for propagating changes, including updates and new configurations, to data in a data-store for a network is disclosed. The methodology discovers a method that includes forming a schedule for each one of a group of intelligent peripheral resources and forming a query to a data-store for each one of the intelligent peripheral resources. The method continues by using each one of the group of intelligent peripheral resources to gather new data, which is the result of the query, and updating the data with the gathered new data so the updated data can be stored on a computer readable media.
