A bulbous or spherically shaped food product container for heating or cooking various food products by means of steam in order to cook multiple sized portions of food products within relatively short cooking times is dis-closed. When steam flows into the food product container, the food product is cooked by the steam. The use of the unique bulb-shaped or spherical food product container enables more than a single or individual food product portion to be cooked within the food product container, and the use of the steam, in conjunction with the bulbous or spherically-shaped food product container, causes the steam and food product to undergo turbulent, rotational, or swirling flow within the bulbous or spherically-configured food product container whereby the food product is greatly dispersed, effectively thinned, and is caused to travel along the internal peripheral surface areas of the bulbous or spherical food product container such that cooking times are dramatically reduced.

A grilling appliance is disclosed for preparing various different types of food wherein the food is conveyed through the appliance, from a food insert end of the appliance to a food removal end of the appliance, by means of continuously movable flow-through upper and lower cooperating conveyors operatively associated with platen-type heating members over which the upper and lower conveyors are conveyed so as to be heated by the platen-type heating members and thereby, in turn, heat, brown, or carmelize the food as desired or required. A fastener with shaving inhibitor for fastening a material such as a metal sheeting panel to a substrate such as metal or wood. The fastener has a notch angled leftwardly with respect to an axis of the fastener, the notch having a first end and a second end, a leading face and a trailing face, each face having outer edges and a common edge at their intersection. At least one of the leading and trailing faces may be substantially planar but may have other shapes, such as concave. Leftwardly angled notch with faces having outer edges may attract and then cut shavings formed from material being installed, thereby reducing the quantity and/or length of shavings, prolonging the life of the material or the structure to which the material is fastened.

A fastener for use in concrete includes a shank and a head. The shank has a tip distal most from the head. The shank includes a first helical thread formation having a thread form thereon formed from two portions disposed upon opposite lateral sides of the thread form. The thread form has a root and the two portions include an alternating series of lobe members and base portions. The lobe members have a height as measured from the root and the base portions have a height as measured from the root. The height of the lobe members is greater than the height of the base portions and the height of the base portions is greater than zero. The fastener includes a second helical thread formation that is disposed adjacent to and spaced from the first helical thread formation.

A host tool having an integral system for ordering inventory from an inventory order interface has a processing unit, a location provider and a remote connector. The location provider is configured to selectively provide the location of the host tool to the processing unit, while the remote connector is configured to establish a remote connection between the processing unit and an inventory order interface of the supplier of the inventory. A customer identification card having order information is selectively connected to the host tool. When the card is connected, the information is read by and transmitted from the host tool to the inventory order interface through the remote connector. The processing unit is configured to interface location information from the location provider, payment information and order information from the customer identification card, through the remote connector, to place an order for inventory at the inventory order interface.

A self-drilling anchor for use in a friable material or a semi-rigid material comprises a body having an axis, an axial bore adapted to receive a fastener, a proximal end, a drilling end, a proximal portion adjacent the proximal end having high threading having a crest diameter for engaging the friable or semi-rigid material, and a drilling portion adjacent the drilling end, an additional thread proximate the proximal end, the additional thread continuing between turns of the high threading, and a head at the proximal end having an outer diameter that is smaller than the crest diameter. The anchor additional thread is configured to engage either the friable material or, additionally, to firmly engage the semi-rigid material.

A cover or boot for use in conjunction with the nail advancement mechanism of a fastener-driving tool is disclosed. The cover or boot covers external surface portions of the nail advancement mechanism of the fastener-driving tool so as to prevent a significant accumulation of dust particles from effectively collecting upon and entering the piston-cylinder assembly of the nail advancement mechanism and thereby operatively interfering with the reciprocal movements of the piston of the piston-cylinder assembly of the nail advancement mechanism whereby the operative functioning of the nail advancement mechanism of the fastener-driving tool would otherwise be adversely affected.

A universal suspended anchor system is configured for attaching to a frame having a first vertical wall and a second vertical wall having first and second bearing surfaces, respectively adjacent to and aligned with one another and defining a gap formed between the adjacent bearing surfaces. The universal suspended anchor system includes a bracket and a threaded block affixed to the bracket. The anchor is inserted into the gap and rests on the bearing surfaces. The anchor enables suspension of building service lines including water, HVAC and electrical services.

A pneumatic fastener driving tool is configured to drive a threaded fastener using both linear and rotational motion. The tool allows a fastener to first be driven linearly, without rotation, through a surface material and into a substrate material, preferably to a depth that causes the fastener to at least pierce the substrate material. The tool then rotates the threaded fastener and causes it to fully engage the substrate material, thereby fastening the surface material to the substrate material. The tool has sufficient linear force to drive a fastener into relatively hard substrate materials, such as steel studs, and has a stationary air motor assembly to reduce recoil generated during the driving process. The tool further comprises a gear reducer assembly that uses a compound planetary gear in order to reduce the overall length of the tool.

A seam plate implement assembly comprises a substrate having a longitudinal extent and upon which a plurality of seam plates are fixedly disposed at predetermined uniformly spaced longitudinal positions which correspond to the transverse spacing defined between the crest portions of an underlying corrugated roof decking substructure. In this manner, when a particular one of the membrane plates is fixedly secured to one of the crest portions of the underlying corrugated roof decking substructure by suitable threaded fasteners, the remaining membrane plates will be automatically properly aligned with the other crest portions of the underlying corrugated roof decking substructure so as to automatically ensure proper and secure fixation of the seam plates upon the roof decking assembly. When the seam plate or membrane plate implement assembly is used with a non-corrugated roof decking substructure, the seam plates are disposed at predeterminedly spaced locations upon the substrate so as to provide the environmental membranes with sufficient uplifting force resistance. The substrate may have a C-shaped or V-shaped cross-sectional configuration for enveloping each one of the seam plates, or may comprise a mesh member through which prong members of the seam plates are extended and folded so as to secure the seam plates upon the substrate.

A self-drilling anchor for use in a friable material comprises a body having an axis, a flanged rear end, a drilling front end and a generally cylindrical portion therebetween having an outer surface with a thread disposed thereon, wherein the body forks, beginning at a predetermined distance from the flanged rear end, into a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending forwardly into a drilling tip, wherein the first leg may have a generally rearward facing shoulder angled obtusely outwardly with respect to the axis, wherein the body has an axial bore for receiving an elongate fastener, the axial bore extending substantially through the flanged end and leading to the generally rearward facing shoulder, wherein the anchor is adapted so that the first leg pivots apart from the second leg when the elongate fastener deflects the generally rearward facing shoulder and the predetermined distance is selected to increase pullout strength when the first leg is pivoted apart from the second leg and the anchor is installed in the friable material.
