Disclosed herein are liquid cleansing compositions comprising a foam booster comprising ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil present in an amount ranging from about 0.5% to about 2% based on the total weight of the composition, castor oil maleate, glycerin, and at least one surfactant, wherein the pH of the composition is less than about 7. The liquid cleansing compositions disclosed herein provide enhanced foam volume and texture. Further disclosed herein are methods of making a liquid cleansing composition.

Personal care compositions

A personal care composition comprising a surfactant system consisting essentially of an anionic surfactant and a zwitterionic surfactant; a preservative; a pH modifier; and a rheology modifier, wherein the ratio of anionic surfactant to zwitterionic surfactant is about 1:1 to about 2.2:1 of the total composition by weight.

A moisturizing gel composition is disclosed containing 4 wt. % to 12 wt. % of a humectant selected from trimethylglycine, propylene glycol, glycerin and combinations thereof; 1 wt. % to 6 wt. % of a skin feel agent selected from PEG-14M, polyglyceryl-3-laurate, ppg-3 isostearyl methyl ether, PEG60 almond glyceride, and combinations thereof; 0.25 wt. % to 1 wt. % of a skin conditioning agent selected from shea oil and triterpenesters; 0.2 wt. % to 2 wt. % of a structure increasing polymer selected from carbomers, acrylate polymers, acrylate copolymers and combinations thereof; and a cosmetically acceptable aqueous carrier; wherein, the composition has a pH of 4 to 7. A method to produce the composition at low temperature is further disclosed.

Personal care gel and method

The present disclosure provides personal care compositions comprising a surfactant system that includes an anionic surfactant, a zwitterionic or amphoteric surfactant and optionally a non-ionic surfactant; a preservative system; a pH modifier; optionally a moisturizer or a skin conditioner or both a moisturizer and a skin conditioner; and a viscosity adjusting system, wherein the viscosity adjusting system comprises glyceryl oleate and at least one additional viscosity adjusting agent. Use of the viscosity adjusting system can achieve viscosity levels that would otherwise not be possible by either agent alone, and allows for higher maximum viscosity levels while at the same time providing an emolliency to the formulation.

This invention relates to an improved formulation hair volumizers which comprise: (a) from 0.01-15 percent by weight (based on the total weight of the composition) of a selected liquid MQ resin having an M:Q ratio of 0.5-1.5 and a medium viscosity in the range of 1.0&times;10,-1&times;10,centipoise; and (b) from 85-99.99 percent by weight (based on the total weight of the composition) of a hair care carrier (also called a vehicle). The compositions of this invention provide hair with increased volume without significant stiffness or stickiness and may be made in the form of a shampoo, conditioner, combination shampoo/conditioner, sprays, liquid rinses, gels or mousses.

Volumizing hair care compositions

This invention relates to improved stabilized shampoo compositions containing siloxysilicate materials commonly referred to as MQ resins, wherein the stabilizers are selected from (i) long chain fatty alcohols with greater than 14 carbons; (ii) acrylates/steareth-20 methacrylate copolymer; acrylates copolymer; and acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer; and (iii) selected N,N-disubstituted phthalamic acids and their ammonium salts.
