A camera module includes a lens barrel comprising a lens; an upper housing, coupled to an end of the lens barrel, including an extension portion extending from an external surface of the lens barrel; a lower housing, coupled to the upper housing, configured to have an internal space; and a first substrate, disposed below the lens barrel, comprising an image sensor. A surface of the extension portion is bonded to the lens barrel, and another surface of the extension portion is bonded to the lower housing, and a shape of the first substrate corresponds to a shape of the internal space of the lower housing.

Camera module

A camera module includes a lens module to accommodate a lens; a substrate; an image sensor disposed on the substrate; a support member coupled to the lens module to define a gap between the image sensor and the lens module; a first adhesive member fixing a location of the support member with respect to the substrate; a second adhesive member fixing a location of the lens module with respect to the support member; a first housing coupled to the lens module; and a second housing to accommodate the substrate and coupled to the first housing.

A camera module includes an upper housing coupled to a lower housing to form an inner space, a lens module provided in the inner space and including a heating element, and a substrate configured to supply power to the heating element, wherein the lens module includes an inner barrel comprising one or more lenses, an outer barrel which is coupled to a portion of the inner barrel in an optical axis direction, and a holder in which the outer barrel is fixed, wherein the substrate is fixed to a portion of the holder, wherein the heating element is disposed between the inner barrel and the outer barrel, and is connected to the substrate by a power connection line, and wherein the power connection line is connected to the substrate through a coupling hole in the holder.

Camera module with heating element

A camera module includes a lens module including a lens barrel and a holder to hold the lens barrel, a heater to seal the lens module and including a first cutting portion having a D-shape, and a ring-shaped electrode portion including a second cutting portion having a D-shape and a third cutting portion having a D-shape. The electrode portion is coupled to two surfaces of the heater that are perpendicular to an optical axis direction to align the first cutting portion with the second cutting portion and the third cutting portion.

A camera module includes a first lens barrel including a first lens, a second lens barrel including a second lens that is aligned with the first lens in an optical axis direction, and a stop module disposed between the first lens barrel and the second lens barrel. The stop module includes blades configured to form one or more incidence holes having various sizes. The stop module includes a magnet portion including a driving magnet opposing a driving coil, and the magnet portion moves back and forth rectilinearly.

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a lens used in a camera module including the steps of: preparing a preform for manufacturing a lens; forming a front lens on a front surface of the preform; and forming an array lens by forming a rear lens on a rear surface of the preform during the formation of the front lens.

Method for manufacturing lens used in camera module

There is provided an imaging lens including: a transparent substrate; an upper lens disposed on a top of the transparent substrate; and a lower lens disposed on a bottom of the transparent substrate to correspond to the upper lens, wherein one of the upper and lower lenses includes a lens element and a partition wall formed higher than the lens element to surround the lens element. Also, there is provided a method of manufacturing the same. In the imaging lens, the partition wall is replicated together with the lens element on one or both surfaces of the transparent substrate. The partition wall is formed higher than the lens element and has a flat top surface. Therefore, when another lens element is replicated on an opposite surface of the transparent substrate, the previously replicated lens element is prevented from deformation.

Imaging lens and method of manufacturing the same

There is provided an imaging optical system including: a first lens element having a convex object-side surface; a second lens element having an object-side planar surface in contact with an image-side surface of the first lens element and an image-side planar surface; and a third lens element having an object-side surface in contact with an image-side surface of the second lens element, wherein the object-side surface of the first lens element and an image-side surface of the third lens element are aspherical, and the third lens element has a point of inflection formed within an effective aperture thereof such that the image-side surface is convexed toward an image plane at a central portion to have positive refractive power and concaved toward the image plane at a peripheral portion to have negative refractive power.

Subminiature imaging optical system

An optical system is mounted in a mobile communication terminal and a personal digital assistant (PDA) for a monitoring camera and a digital camera. The optical system includes: a first optical element formed in a meniscus shape entirely convex toward an object and having a positive refractive power; and a second optical element having an object-side surface convex toward the object and an image-side surface formed of a plane, wherein the second optical element includes: a fourth optical element having an object-side surface entirety convex toward the object on the optical axis; and a fifth optical element having an object-side surface in contact with an image-side surface of the fourth optical element, and an image-side surface and an object-side surface formed of planes respectively.

Optical system

The invention provides a lens driving device capable of performing zooming and auto-focusing using a single actuator, with a simple and miniaturized structure and less power consumption. The lens driving device includes a first lens disposed movable during zooming and automatic focusing, a second lens disposed movable during zooming independently from the first lens. The lens driving device also includes a lens movement guide member, having a first guide part, and a second guide part, rotated to move the first and second lenses. An actuator is provided to move the first and second lenses, and both the first and second lenses are moved during zooming while only the first lens is finely moved during automatic focusing.
