A head-mounted display device includes a display panel and an optical system positioned on a front surface of the display panel, wherein the display panel sequentially includes a light emitting element unit, a retarder positioned on a front surface of the light emitting element unit, a reflective polarizer, and an absorptive polarizer, wherein the optical system includes a first curved lens configured to include a first retarder positioned on an inner surface and a beam splitter positioned on an outer surface and a second curved lens configured to include a second retarder positioned on an inner surface and a reflective polarizer positioned on an outer surface, wherein the first curved lens is positioned on the display panel, and the second curved lens is positioned on the first curved lens, and wherein the absorptive polarizer of the display panel includes an open portion from which the absorptive polarizer is removed.

Head-mounted display device

A display device includes: a first display panel having a first resolution; a second display panel having a second resolution; and a first multi-channel lens and a second multi-channel lens disposed on one surface of the first display panel and including a plurality of channels through which light emitted from the one surface of the first display panel passes, where the second resolution is higher than the first resolution.

A display device includes a display portion including a first surface, from which light is emitted in a first direction, and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a first optical portion disposed on the first surface, and a second optical portion disposed on the first surface to be spaced apart from the first optical portion in a second direction crossing the first direction. Each of the first and second optical portions includes a multi-channel lens through which the light from the first surface passes, a first infrared light source, a first camera, and a first lens frame coupled to the multi-channel lens in the first direction to support at least a portion of the multi-channel lens. The first lens frame may include a first recess structure in which the first infrared light source is disposed and a second recess structure in which the first camera is disposed.

Display device and head mounted display device

A display device includes a display unit including a first surface emitting first light, a second surface opposite to the first surface, a first transmission area transmitting light incident on the first surface, and a second transmission area transmitting the light incident on the first surface. The display device includes a first lens on the first surface and including a first hole overlapping the first transmission area in a thickness direction, a second lens on the first surface and spaced apart from the first lens and including a second hole overlapping the second transmission area in the thickness direction, and light sources emitting second light and disposed on the first and second lenses. The display device includes a first camera sensor on the second surface and overlapping the first transmission area, and a second camera sensor on the second surface and overlapping the second transmission area.

A display device includes a display part including a plurality of pixels; a lens part disposed on the display part; and a plurality of optical devices overlapping an edge of the display part in a plan view and disposed at an edge of the lens part, wherein light from the outside of the display part is incident on the plurality of optical devices.

A head mounted display device includes a lens assembly which changes a path of light; a main display module which outputs a main image and is positioned in front of the lens assembly; a main optical block which shields at least a portion of a light representing the main image such that the light representing the main image faces the lens assembly; a sub-display module disposed on a side of the main optical block and which outputs a sub-image; a sub-optical block positioned on the side of the main optical block and which shields at least a portion of a light representing the sub-image; and a light path converter positioned in the sub-optical block and which changes a path of the light representing the sub-image such that the light representing the sub-image faces the lens assembly.
