There is provided a method of preparing a synchronized piezoelectric and luminescence material. The method includes mixing a solution (a) including light-emitting particles or precursors thereof and a solution (b) including ligands having a piezoelectric property in a polar solvent; and optionally, mixing a solution (c) including ligands having a piezoelectric property in an antisolvent together with the solution (a) and the solution (b), if necessary.

Provided are a low-reflective coating layer, a porous layer, a method of fabricating the porous layer, and an optical member including the porous layer. According to an embodiment, a low-reflective coating layer comprising a porous film having hollow sphere structures or bowl-like structures is provided. Each hollow sphere structure or bowl-like structure may have cavity formed therein. The hollow sphere structures or the bowl-like structures may be formed from spherical micelles, and each spherical micelle may be formed by self-assembling a supramolecular complex of a first compound block and a second compound block. In addition, the first compound block may constitute a backbone of the supramolecular chemical compound and the second compound block may constitute a side chain of the supramolecular. The electrochromic photonic-crystal reflective display device includes a substrate having lower electrodes, a first solid polymer electrolyte thin film, a block copolymer photonic-crystal thin film, a second solid polymer electrolyte thin film, and upper electrodes. The first solid polymer electrolyte thin film is formed on the top of the substrate, and is made from a mixed solution including a polymer electrolyte and an ionic liquid. A method and apparatus for orientation of block copolymer microdomains via rapid solidification. Rapid solidification from a solvent may include directional solidification and/or epitaxy to form patterns of microdomains in a film of block copolymer. Microdomains may include various structures formed by components of a block copolymer, such as vertical lamellae, in-plane cylinders, and vertical cylinders, and may depend on film thickness. Orientation of structures in microdomains may be controlled to be approximately uniform, and spatial arrangement of microdomains may be controlled.
