Disclosed are an apparatus for generating a user's virtual observation and a method thereof. More particularly, the apparatus for generating user's virtual observation according to an embodiment includes a master reference station carrier observation receiver configured to receive a carrier measurement of a master reference station of a first network from a preset area divided into a first network to an n-th network (where n is a positive integer) by multiple reference stations; a spatial separation compensation correction information receiver configured to set a path from the master reference station of the first network to a user's terminal and to receive spatial separation compensation correction information of at least one network corresponding to the set path among the first network to the n-th network; and using a user's virtual observation generator configured to generate a virtual observation, in which a spatial separation error of a user's positioning is compensated, using the carrier measurement of the master reference station of the first network and the spatial separation compensation correction information of each of the at least one network.

Apparatus for generating virtual observation of user carrier for precise global navigation satellite system user positioning based on homogeneous network real time kinematic corrections and method thereof

The present disclosure relates to a global positioning system for compensating for relative positioning errors between vehicles. A follower vehicle of the global positioning system includes a correction message receiver configured to receive correction message including velocity information about a leader vehicle and GNSS raw measurements of the leader vehicle from the leader vehicle, a relative positioning result calculator configured to calculate a relative positioning result between the leader vehicle and the follower vehicle based on the GNSS measurements of the leader vehicle, and a relative positioning result corrector configured to calculate a corrected relative positioning result through an operation based on the calculated relative positioning result and the velocity information about the leader vehicle.

Global positioning system for compensating for error of relative position between vehicles

The present invention provides a method of performing a position measurement on the basis of a signal from a global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The method includes: receiving initial position information; estimating an initial value of a multipath error through a measurement of the GNSS signal on the basis of the received initial position information; estimating a multipath error from the initial value of the multipath error on the basis of a change in the measurement; removing the estimated multipath error from the measurement of the GNSS signal; and performing the position measurement on the basis of the GNSS measurement from which the multipath error is removed.
