An organic light emitting display device includes a driver to drive at least one pixel. The driver drives the pixel based on a frame which includes at least one data sub-frame and at least one hysteresis reset sub-frame. The driver applies an emission data voltage or a non-emission data voltage to the pixel during the data sub-frame, and applies a reset voltage to reset a driving transistor of the pixel during the hysteresis reset sub-frame. The reset voltage may initialize a voltage-current characteristic of the driving transistor during the hysteresis sub-frame.

Organic light emitting display device and method of driving the same

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panel is disclosed. In one aspect, the panel includes a first transistor which receives a data signal transferred through a data line in response to a scan signal transferred through a gate line and a second transistor which receives a first power signal in response to a bias signal and outputs a source-driving signal. The panel also includes a third transistor which receives the source-driving signal in response to an output signal of the first transistor and outputs a driving signal, an organic light-emitting element which comprises a first electrode being connected to the third transistor and which receives the driving signal and a second electrode which receives a second power signal. The panel further includes a fourth transistor which is electrically connected to the third transistor and which receives the driving signal.

An organic light emitting display device, including pixels positioned at crossing regions of scan lines and data lines and a bias voltage supply configured to supply bias voltages to the pixels. Each of the pixels includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a first transistor coupled between a first power supply and the OLED and driven in a saturation region by a corresponding one of the bias voltages to supply a set current to the OLED, a second transistor coupled between the first power supply and the OLED and driven in a linear region by a data signal supplied from a corresponding one of the data lines to turn on or off, and a second capacitor coupled between a gate electrode of the first transistor and the first power supply.

A liquid crystal display ('LCD') includes a liquid crystal panel having gate lines, data lines and pixels. The pixels are grouped into pixel lines. The LCD further includes a data driver which performs line-inversion driving by applying a data voltage having a positive or a negative polarity to the pixels such that the pixels in each pixel line have a same polarity. The pixel lines are grouped into first and second pixel line groups. Operating times of the first and second switching units are different. Accordingly, when a data voltage is charged in or discharged from a data line, since a separate discharging transistor or a separate discharging amplifier is not used, power consumption and an area of a data driver are reduced.
