A scroll compressor includes a drive motor, a rotary shaft coupled to the drive motor, a main frame disposed below the drive motor, a fixed scroll disposed below the main frame, an orbiting scroll disposed between the main frame and the fixed scroll and eccentrically coupled to the rotary shaft, and an Oldham's ring coupled to the main frame and the orbiting scroll and configured to restrict rotation of the orbiting scroll relative to the fixed scroll. The Oldham's ring includes: a ring body, a first key that receives a first fixing boss of the ring body and that is configured to couple to the main frame, and a second key that receives a second fixing boss of the ring body and that is configured to couple to the orbiting scroll.

A compressor is provided which is configured to allow lubrication of a thrust surface through an oil groove formed in a thrust surface of a fixed scroll. Also, a scroll compressor is provided which smoothly supplies oil to a thrust surface of a fixed scroll by including a fixed scroll having an oil groove formed in the thrust surface of a fixed scroll sidewall, and allows an injection pressure acting on an orbiting scroll in an upward direction to be added by supplying the oil guided to the oil groove to the thrust surface of the fixed scroll such that an overturn moment generated in the orbiting scroll may be offset.

A scroll compressor is provided capable of supplying oil stored in an oil storage chamber upward through a rotary shaft to supply the oil to a compression device and to lubricate a bearing portion. A medium pressure chamber may be formed in or at a middle of the main frame, the fixed scroll, and the orbiting scroll. A scroll compressor includes a casing; a drive motor; a rotary shaft; a fixed scroll including a fixed wrap; and an orbiting scroll eccentrically coupled to rotary shaft and including an orbiting wrap configured to engage with the fixed wrap. At least one of the fixed wrap or the orbiting wrap defines an offset section that is defined between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap and that is greater than an orbital radius corresponding to a distance between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap in a state in which a center of the fixed scroll is aligned to a center of the orbiting scroll. The offset section is disposed at a contact portion between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap. A compressor is provided having an integrated flow path structure in which an oil flow path and an intermediate pressure flow path are integrated into one in a compression unit, thereby simplifying a flow path of the compression unit. The compressor may include at least one integrated flow path in which the oil flow path and the refrigerant gas flow are integrated into one in a fixed scroll. The at least one integrated flow path may connect an intermediate pressure chamber and a compression chamber in a compressors unit. The at least one integrated flow path may provide a compressed refrigerant in the compression chamber to the intermediate pressure chamber and provide oil in the intermediate pressure chamber to the compression chamber, simplifying the flow path of the compression unit.

The oil guided upward through the oil supply path may be discharged through the at least one oil hole and supplied to the outer circumferential surface of the rotary shaft.

Disclosed are a motor for a compressor and a hermetic compressor having the same. An aluminum coil cheaper than a copper coil is used in the motor for the compressor, a ratio between the aluminum coil and a stator core is set, and sectional areas of main and sub slot portions of the stator core and the numbers thereof are adjusted to be suitable for usage conditions, whereby fabricating costs of the motor for the compressor and the hermetic compressor can drastically be reduced and efficiencies thereof can be improved.

A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.

A scroll-type compressor includes a compression unit, a main frame supporting the compression unit, and a driving shaft having an oil supply path. The oil supply path is located eccentrically with the driving shaft and an upper part of the driving shaft is supported by the main frame. The compressor also has a motor for rotating the driving shaft, an oil cap located on an upper side of a rotor of the motor, and a balance member to compensate the driving shaft.
