A display device includes first lead lines connecting the circuit signal lines with the driving integrated circuit, and second lead lines connecting the panel signal lines with the driving integrated circuit, wherein the second lead lines comprise a 2-1 sub-lead line configured to supply a scan-high voltage signal from the driving integrated circuit to the panel signal lines, and a 2-2 sub-lead line configured to supply a scan-low voltage signal from the driving integrated circuit to the panel signal lines, wherein the first lead lines comprises a 1-1 sub-lead line connected to the driving integrated circuit, a 1-1-1 sub-lead line separated from the 1-1 sub-lead line in a first direction, a 1-2 sub-lead line spaced apart from the 1-1 sub-lead line in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a 1-2-1 sub-lead line spaced apart from the 1-2 sub-lead line in the second direction.

A display device including a substrate including first and second flat regions spaced apart from each other, and a bendable region between the first and second flat regions, a display layer on a first surface of the substrate in the first flat region, a first passivation layer on the first surface of the substrate in the bendable region, a second passivation layer on a second surface of the substrate, the second passivation layer defining cavities spaced apart from each other in the bendable region, and support members on the second surface of the substrate in the first flat region and the second flat region, wherein a first density of the cavities corresponding to a first area in the bendable region is less than an average density of the cavities, and wherein a first bending stress of the substrate at the first area is greater than an average bending stress of the substrate in the bendable region.

An organic light emitting display device may include a substrate having a display area and a non-display area at least partially surrounds the display area, a pixel structure disposed in the display area on the substrate, a via insulating layer disposed in the non-display area on the substrate and having a contact hole, a lower pad disposed on the via insulating layer and a connecting structure. Here, the connecting structure may include a flexible substrate disposed on the lower pad, an upper pad disposed between the flexible substrate and the lower pad, and an upper dummy pad spaced apart from the upper pad in a first direction on a bottom surface of the flexible substrate.

A display device includes a touch panel (TP), a transparent adhesive member (TAM) on a surface of the TP, a touch printed circuit board (TPCB), and a display panel (DP) on a surface of the TAM. The TP includes a sensing portion and a pad side portion (PSP) on a side of the sensing portion. The TPCB includes a contact portion (CP) attached to a surface of the PSP. The DP includes a substrate, an optical film (OF) on a surface of the substrate, and a bending protection layer (BPL) on a side of the OF on the surface of the substrate. The surface of the PSP includes a connection area attached to the CP and a non-connection area not attached to the CP. The OF is spaced from the BPL with a gap disposed therebetween. The TAM overlaps, in a thickness direction, with the TPCB and the gap.

A display device includes the following elements: a base substrate having an active area and a non-active area; a plurality of pads disposed on the non-active area; and a printed circuit disposed on the plurality of pads. The printed circuit may include the following elements: a support layer; a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer respectively disposed on two opposite surfaces of the support layer. The second conductive layer may include the following elements: a first conductive member; a second conductive member; and a space between the first conductive member and the second conductive member. The first conductive member and the second conductive member may be electrically connected to the first conductive layer through contact holes. A display apparatus includes a display panel, an electrode, a first wiring, a second wiring, a first contact hole, a second contact hole and a first resistor. The display panel includes an active area to display an image and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area. The electrode is in the active area. The first wiring is in the peripheral area and configured to apply a power voltage to the electrode. The second wiring is in the peripheral area and configured to apply the power voltage to the electrode. The first contact hole connects the electrode and the first wiring. The second contact hole connects the electrode and the second wiring. The first resistor is connected between the first wiring and the second wiring.

Display apparatus and method of detecting defect of the same

A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the device includes a display panel including a display region and a non-display region and a housing accommodating the display panel therein. The device also includes a light sensing unit interposed between the display panel and the housing, the light sensing unit facing the display panel in the non-display region. The light sensing unit is configured to detect light that is totally reflected from the display panel and is emitted from a side of the display panel.
