An injection molding machine includes a lock nut open-close mechanism provided on a moveable platen () to engage with at least two tie bars (), and comprises a pair of rods () connecting two pairs of lock nuts (), and a clamping unit (). The clamping unit comprises an execution element () and a pair of connecting bars for open-close action () symmetrically arranged. A first end of a first connecting bar () is connected to the second nut () of the first pair of lock nuts (), and a first end of the second connecting bar () is connected to the first nut () of the second pair of lock nuts (). The second ends of the first and second connecting bars are connected to each other and are driven by the execution element () simultaneously to open or close the pairs of lock nuts simultaneously.

An injection molding machine and a method for mold-adjusting are provided. The injection molding machine comprises a mold-adjusting mechanism mounted to one side of the fixed platen and being coaxial with the tie bars. Each of the mold-adjusting mechanisms is constructed the same comprising a support frame (), a motor (), a mold-adjusting driving wheel (), a mold-adjusting driven wheel (), a hydraulic cylinder for positioning (), a sensor and a control system.
