The present disclosure relates to compositions including a first polymeric structure having a structure of Formula (I), (II), (III), (IV), or (V): or a salt thereof, and a second polymeric structure having a structure of Formula (X) or Formula (XI): or a salt thereof, in which at least one of these can include an ionizable moiety or an ionic moiety, for use in an electrochemical cell. Materials, devices, and methods using such compositions are also described.

Ionic polymers and copolymers

Provided herein are hydrophobically-modified metal nanoparticle cathode catalysts for electrochemical reactions. The hydrophobic modifications may be incorporated onto the nanoparticles by either directly binding ligands or ionomers to the nanoparticles, or by indirectly binding an ionomer to the nanoparticle through a linker. The hydrophobically-modified metal nanoparticles may be hydrophobic ally-modified gold nanoparticles.

Surface modification of metal catalysts with hydrophobic ligands or ionomers

Provided are compositions including a core moiety and a plurality of polymeric units, in which at least one of these can include an ionizable moiety or an ionic moiety. The core moiety may be a multivalent core moiety, trivalent core moiety, tetravalent core moiety, pentavalent core moiety, or multivalent arylene moiety. Materials, electrochemical cells, and methods using such compositions are also described.

Semi-interpenetrating and crosslinked polymers and membranes thereof

Small molecules comprised of spiroindolinone analogues are provided. Some spiroindolinones are provided with a particular relative stereochemistry in which the indolone carbonyl and all three hydrogens are on the same face of the central pyrrolidine ring. A stereoselective method of synthesis is provided for making some of the spiroindolinones described above. Formulations and medicaments are also provided that are directed to the treatment of disease, such as, for example, fungal infections. Therapeutics are also provided containing a therapeutically effective dose of one or more small molecule compounds, present either as pharmaceutically effective salt or in pure form, including, but not limited to, formulations for oral, intravenous, or intramuscular administration.
