Provided is a pre-5-Generation (5g) or 5G communication system for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4g) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method performed by a base station in a wireless communication system. The method includes determining at least one energy detection threshold for sensing based on a signal to be transmitted; identifying a detected power corresponding to a channel of an unlicensed band; determining whether the channel is idle based on the detected power and the at least one energy detection threshold; and transmitting the signal to a user equipment (UE) on the channel based on a determination that the channel is idle. The at least one energy detection threshold corresponds to the signal to be transmitted including a first signal or a second signal, and the second signal includes at least one discovery signal, and the first signal is different from the second signal.

Method and apparatus for transmitting data

The present application discloses a method for data transmission in a radio cell of a mobile terminal. The radio cell includes an auxiliary carrier in a low frequency band and at least one master carrier in a high frequency band, the method including: the mobile terminal achieving downlink synchronization with the radio cell through the auxiliary carrier in the low frequency band, and after achieving the downlink synchronization, obtaining configuration information of the radio cell, and transmitting data by using the master carrier and/or the auxiliary carrier according to the configuration information. The present application also provides a mobile terminal. By using the present application, radio cell coverage and transmission performance may be improved.

Apparatus and method for performing a random access in a wireless communication system

An apparatus and method for feeding back hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information are provided. The apparatus and method include user equipment (UE) that first receives a downlink grant (DL-GRANT) which schedules downlink HARQ transmission in a time-frequency bundling window corresponding to an uplink subframe used for feeding back HARQ-ACK, obtains a DL downlink assignment index (DL DAI) in the DL-GRANT, and determines a mapping value of each DL DAI. Then, according to the mapping value of the corresponding DL DAI, the HARQ-ACK bit of each HARQ feedback unit is mapped to a corresponding bit of a feedback bit sequence. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, useless HARQ-ACK bits may be effectively removed, and efficiency for feeding back HARQ-ACK may be increased. As such, a downlink peak rate of a UE is ensured.

A methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving channel state information (CSI). A method by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), first configuration information configuring a first interference measurement resource (IMR) and a second IMR in case that the UE is configured with CSI subframe sets; receiving, from the BS, second configuration information configuring a zero-power (ZP) CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource; and transmitting, to the BS, a CSI based on the first configuration information and the second configuration information. Method and apparatus for performing uplink/downlink transmission in a flexible subframe

A multiple access method, a multiple access transmitter, and a multiple access receiver includes performing, by a transmitter, channel coding on a bit sequence to determine a coded sequence. The method also includes interleaving and/or scrambling the coded sequence, and performing multidimensional constellation modulation on the interleaved and/or scrambled sequence; performing grid mapping on the modulated symbol sequence to determine a mapped sequence, and transmitting the mapped sequence. The method also includes receiving, by a receiver, mixed signals from multiple transmitters, the mixed signals are obtained by performing, by each of the multiple transmitters, interleaving and/or scrambling, multidimensional constellation modulation and grid mapping on data. The method further includes decoding, by the receiver, mixed information according to interleaver information and/or scrambler information, multidimensional constellation information and grid mapping pattern information corresponding to each transmitter to obtain data corresponding to each transmitter.

Apparatus and method for in multiple access in wireless communication

The present disclosure provides several methods, user equipment (UEs) and base stations for transmitting uplink signals. After receiving uplink synchronization command information, the UE may transmit an uplink signal on at least one idle unlicensed cell. Besides, the UE may try to transmit the uplink signal on multiple uplink signal resources within an uplink signal transmission window. By using the present disclosure, transmission probability of uplink signals may be improved, and time delay of uplink synchronization may be shortened.

An apparatus and a method for feeding back data receiving status, applied to a system, are provided. The method includes sequencing, by a User Equipment (UE), downlink subframes for transmitting data with respect to each Component Carrier (CC), generating receiving status feedback information for the first X downlink subframes with respect to each CC according to the result of the sequencing, where X&#x2264;M, wherein M is the number of downlink subframes on each CC, and transmitting the receiving status feedback information generated with respect to each CC to a base station. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for configuring uplink and downlink carriers. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the UE determines according to received uplink and downlink carrier configuration signaling, the pairing between the uplink and downlink carriers, and/or a timing reference downlink carrier for the uplink, and/or a pathloss reference cell for the uplink. Thus, the uplink and downlink carriers may be configured more flexibly.
