A loop heat pipe for dissipating heat generated by a heat source includes a pipe, a first capillary structure, a second capillary structure, and a working fluid in the pipe. The pipe has a condensing section, an evaporating section adapted to contact the heat source thermally, and an obstructing section adjacent to the evaporating section. The first capillary structure on an inner surface of the pipe is disposed between the condensing section and the obstructing section. The second capillary structure has a first and a second parts connected with each other. The first part on the inner surface of the pipe is extended from the evaporating section to the obstructing section. The second part passing through the obstructing section is extended from the obstructing section to the condensing section. A space between the first capillary structure and the second part of the second capillary structure defines a compensation room.

Loop heat pipe and manufacturing method thereof

An active device array substrate includes a substrate, a first pixel electrode, and a first raised pattern. The first pixel electrode is disposed on or above the substrate, and the first pixel electrode includes a first truck electrode, a second truck electrode, and a plurality of first branch electrodes. The first truck electrode and the second truck electrode intersect to form a first node at the intersection of the first truck electrode and the second truck electrode. The first branch electrodes are connected to the first truck electrode and the second truck electrode to form a plurality of first domains, wherein the first branch electrodes are asymmetrical with respect to the second truck electrode. The first raised pattern is disposed at least between the first node and the substrate to form a first raised structure at least at the first node.

Active device array substrate

A pixel structure including a first active device, a second active device, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, a third pixel electrode, a coupling electrode, and a capacitance electrode is provided. The first pixel electrode connected to the first active device and defines a first to a fourth liquid crystal alignment domain having different alignment directions. The second pixel electrode is connected to the coupling electrode and defines a fifth to an eighth liquid crystal alignment domain having different alignment directions. The third pixel electrode is connected to the second active device and defines a ninth and a tenth liquid crystal alignment domain. The coupling electrode is connected between the first active device and the second active device and extended to pass through the first, the second, and the third pixel electrodes. The capacitance electrode respectively overlaps parts of the first, the second, and the third pixel electrodes.

Pixel structure

A pixel structure and a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel having the same are provided. The pixel structure includes a data line, a scan line, at least one active device, a pixel electrode, and a metal line. The active device is electrically connected to the data line and the scan line. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the active device and has an opening at the edge of the pixel electrode adjacent to at least one of the data line and the scan line. The metal line is located below the pixel electrode. Besides, a portion of the metal line extending to the edge of the pixel electrode is exposed by the opening. The shortest distance between an edge of the opening of the pixel electrode and the metal line is greater than or substantially equal to 3 &#x3bc;m.

A non-woven fabric for reacting with a liquid to produce a gas is provided. The non-woven fabric includes a plurality of core-sheath fibers, and each of the core-sheath fibers includes a core layer, a sheath layer, and a plurality of solid particles. The core layer has a first melting point. The sheath layer wraps the core layer and has a second melting point, wherein the first melting point is higher than the second melting point. The solid particles are combined to each of the sheath layers. Moreover, a method for fabricating the non-woven fabric, a gas fuel generation device using the non-woven fabric, and a method for generating the gas fuel are also provided.

A hydrogen generation device and a fuel cell using the same are provided. The hydrogen generation device includes a first containing groove, a cover, a second containing groove, and a rotating device. The first containing groove contains liquid water. The cover is fixed on the first containing groove and covers the liquid water. The cover has an opening for exposing the liquid water. The second containing groove is stacked on the cover and divided into a plurality of containing compartments, wherein each containing compartment contains a solid fuel. The opening is aligned with one containing compartment so that the corresponding solid fuel reacts with the liquid water generate hydrogen. The rotating device is connected with the first or the second containing groove. The opening is moved and aligned with another containing compartment when the rotating device drives the first containing groove and the second containing groove to relatively rotate.

Hydrogen generation device and fuel cell using the same

A hydrogen generating apparatus and a fuel cell using the same is provided. The hydrogen generating apparatus is adapted to a fuel cell, and includes a main body, an electromagnet, a magnetic element, a containing tank and a sliding element. The electromagnet is fixed on the main body. The magnetic element is movably disposed on the main body. The containing tank is fixed on the main body and is used for containing liquid water. The sliding element is slidably disposed on the main body, wherein a solid fuel is fixed on the sliding element. When the electromagnet is electrified to generate magnetic force to drive a motion of the magnetic element, the magnetic element drives the sliding element to slide towards the containing tank, so that the solid fuel reacts with the liquid water in the containing tank to generate hydrogen.

A fuel cartridge includes a plurality of chambers and a plurality of supply devices. Each of the chambers is capable of storing a first reactant. A heat exchanging element adapted to a fuel cell system includes a plurality of heat exchanging units and a fixing unit. The heat exchanging units are arranged to be spaced apart from one another along a first direction. The fixing unit fixes the heat exchanging units. Each of the heat exchanging units is demarcated into a first part and a second part extending from the first part by the fixing unit. A thermal conductivity coefficient of each of the heat exchanging units is higher than that of the fixing unit. The fixing unit is configured to slow heat conduction between the heat exchanging units. The heat exchanging element improves a heat recovery efficiency of the fuel cell system. In addition, two kinds of fuel cell systems using the above-mentioned heat exchanging element are provided.

A flow channel plate adapted to a fuel cell apparatus is provided. The flow channel plate includes a separating film and a plurality of bar supporting members. The separating film is disposed between two components of the fuel cell apparatus, and the bar supporting members lean against the separating film and the two components to maintain a distance between the two components. The flow channel plate has low flow resistance.

A fuel cell module including a membrane electrode assembly (MEA), a pressing plate, an anode collector, an anode flow channel plate, a cathode collector, and a cathode flow channel plate is provided. The MEA has a protrusion, and the pressing plate presses an edge of a cathode of the MEA. The pressing plate has a first opening to expose the protrusion. The anode collector is disposed on an anode of the MEA. The anode flow channel plate is disposed on anode collector. The anode collector is disposed between the anode and the anode flow channel plate. The cathode flow channel plate faces the cathode collector disposed on the cathode and the pressing plate to form a flow channel between an inner surface of the cathode flow channel plate and the cathode collector. The cathode flow channel plate has a concave portion corresponding to the protrusion.

Fuel cell module with membrane swelling control structure

A flow field plate module for a fuel cell system includes at least one flow field plate defining a fuel transporting channel thereon. The fuel transporting channel is divided into a middle converging zone having a group of first flow guiding plates arranged therein, and two diverging zones located at two lateral sides of the middle converging zone and each having a group of second flow guiding plates arranged therein. The second flow guiding plates are symmetrically arranged in the two diverging zones and are directed at respective inner end toward a space between two adjacent first flow guiding plates in the middle converging zone to thereby offset from each of the two adjacent first flow guiding plates by a predetermined distance in a fuel flowing direction, so that a fluid path is formed between any two adjacent first and second flow guiding plates.
