A phantom-free calibration method for a computerized tomography scan has the steps of: scanning a plurality of homogeneous human tissues with a computerized tomography scanner and obtaining homogeneous human tissue scan information; scanning a tissue to be tested with the computerized tomography scanner and obtaining tissue to be tested scan information; calculating a spectral characteristic parameter of the computerized tomography scanner with a computing device using a model, wherein a standard tissue parameter of the homogeneous human tissues and the human tissue scan information are used in the model; and calculating a tissue parameter of the tissue to be tested with the computing device using the model, wherein the spectral characteristic parameter and the tissue to be tested scan information are inputted in the model. The phantom-free calibration method makes the tissue parameters of the tissue to be tested more accurate and the calibration process easier and more convenient.

Phantom-free calibration method for a computerized tomography scan

An implant guide system for hip replacement surgery includes an angle guide member and a first positioning plate. The angle guide member has a body and a protrusion that are substantially connected to each other. The body has a curved surface corresponding in shape to a surface of a patient's acetabulum. The protrusion has a first through hole extending to the body. An acute angle is defined between an extension line of the first through hole and a flat surface of the body. The first positioning plate has a first holding portion and a first spacing portion that are substantially connected to each other. The first spacing portion has a second through hole, a third through hole and a fourth through hole that are parallel to each other.

Implant guide system for hip replacement surgery

An implant surface mapping and unwrapping method provided by the present invention selects or defines a mesh implant geometry, and places and rotates it in a specific spatial position according to a mesh. Vertex space coordinates, which are interpolated in medical images such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or ultrasound to calculate the gray scale values of these spatial coordinate points, and map them on the surface of the implant. In addition, the implant is irregular. The surface can be further unwrapped through the planar image to help understand its contact with the anatomy. If the medical image is pre-converted to other anatomical, physiological, pathological, and functional parameters, the mapping and unwrapping results will also be displayed with these parameters. Implant surface mapping and unwrapping method

A simulated method and system for surgical instrument based on tomography are provided. The method includes obtaining a biological stereoscopic image and inputting a parameter set of an implant to be implanted, denoting a target position and an initial position in the biological stereoscopic image, estimating a dimensional coordinate of a contact area of the implant and a living organism when the implant has been implanted into the living organism based on the parameter set, the target position and the initial position in the biological stereoscopic image, and obtaining a physiological data set by re-sampling corresponding to the dimensional coordinate of the implant in the living organism for evaluating the effect after the implant has been implanted into the living organism. Surgeons may evaluate the effect after implantation of implant into the living organism by using the simulated method, enhancing the overall quality and result of the surgery.

Simulated method and system for navigating surgical instrument based on tomography

A method for converting scan information of computed tomography scanner into bone parameters includes the steps of: providing a computed tomography scanner; providing a test object and two phantoms of known components; using the computed tomography scanner to obtain a corresponding test object scan information and two phantoms scan information; receiving the test object scan information and the two phantoms scan information through a computing device; using the computing device to calculate an energy attenuation coefficient of the computed tomography scanner through a physical function model including the known components and the two phantoms scan information; providing the computing device with an energy correction coefficient; and enabling the computing device to obtain a bone parameter of the test object through a true relationship function that includes the energy attenuation coefficient, the test object scan information and the energy correction coefficient.
