An extracellular vesicle separation method, a colloidal particle, and a preparation method thereof are provided. The colloidal particle is used for extracellular vesicle separation, and includes 2 wt % to 6 wt % of agarose. The colloidal particle has a particle size of 25 μm to 500 μm, and is surface-modified with biocompatible molecules. The biocompatible molecules include sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), methyl cellulose (MC), glycine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, bovine serum albumin (BSA), fetal bovine serum (FBS), or a combination thereof.

Extracellular vesicle separation method, colloidal particle and preparation method thereof

A cell activation reactor and a cell activation method are provided. The cell activation reactor includes a body, a rotating part, an upper cover, a microporous film, and multiple baffles. The body has an accommodating space, which is suitable for accommodating multiple cells and multiple magnetic beads. The rotating part is disposed in the accommodating space and includes multiple impellers. The microporous film is disposed in the accommodating space and covers multiple holes of the accommodating space. The baffles are disposed in the body. When the rotating part is driven to rotate, the interaction between the baffles and the impellers separates the cells and the magnetic beads.

Cell activation reactor and cell activation method

A cell culture device includes a culture unit, a gas supply unit, a first pressure unit, at least one inspecting unit and a control unit. The culture unit contains a cell culture liquid. The gas supply unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for transmitting a culture gas into the culture unit. The first pressure unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for applying a pressure to the cell culture liquid in the culture unit. The at least one inspecting unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for receiving the cell culture liquid for inspection. The control unit, electrically coupled with the culture unit, the first pressure unit, the gas supply unit and the at least one inspecting unit, is used for monitoring corresponding condition parameters to determine respective operations. In addition, a cell culture method for the cell culture device is also provided.

Cell culture device and method thereof

A method for in vitro activation and/or expansion of immune cells is provided, including the steps of: a) providing magnetic particles having multi-protrusive surface modified with at least one type of immuno-inducing substance, in which each magnetic particle includes a copolymer core, a polymer layer, a magnetic substance layer, and a silicon-based layer from the inside to the outside; b) providing a cell solution including at least one type of immune cell in the cell solution; and c) bringing the magnetic particles in contact with the cell solution, in which the at least one type of immuno-inducing substance on the surface of the magnetic particle activates and/or expands the at least one type of immune cell in the cell solution.

Method for in vitro activation and/or expansion of immune cells

A method of detecting a biological sample includes the following steps. A magnetic sensor chip is provided, wherein the magnetic sensor chip includes a substrate and a magnetic sensing layer located on the substrate. Probes are connected to the magnetic sensor chip. A sample solution containing biological samples labeled with a first marker is provided on the magnetic sensor chip, so that the biological samples labeled with the first marker are hybridized with the probes. Magnetic beads labeled with a second marker are provided on the magnetic sensor chip, so that the magnetic beads labeled with the second marker are bound onto the biological samples labeled with the first marker. A signal sensed by the magnetic sensing layer is detected by a magnetic sensor.

Method of detecting biological sample

A method for detecting metal ions and chemical/biochemical molecules is provided. The method includes providing a probe, wherein the probe includes: a gold nanocluster; a reducing agent and a chelating agent partially capped on a surface of the gold nanocluster, wherein the probe is formed of reducing gold ions by the reducing agent, and the gold ions and the reducing agent have a molar ratio of 1:0.7 to 1:1.9. The probe may interact with several metal ions of an aqueous solution to produce different changes of fluorescent spectra. Chemical/biochemical molecules can be detected by the fluorescent spectra difference caused by the interaction between the metal ions and the chemical/biochemical molecules.

Probe and method for detecting metal ions and chemical/biochemical molecules

A gold nanocluster composition and method for preparing the same are provided. The method includes providing a gold ion-containing solution. Next, the method entails mixing the gold ion-containing solution and a reducing agent solution to obtain a first mixture liquid, and heating the first mixture liquid to obtain a second mixture liquid, wherein the second mixture liquid contains the gold nanoclusters, which are partially capped by reducing agent.

Method for preparing gold nanocluster composition

The present invention relates to a metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material, fabrication method, and method for linkage, enrichment, and isolation of phosphorylated species. The metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material comprises the magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle, a silica layer immobilized onto the magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle and a metal oxide layer coated onto the silica layer. The magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles can be used for absorbing microwave radiation to accelerate the enrichment and linkage for phosphorylated species onto the metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material. Furthermore, the magnetic property of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles leads to isolation of the metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material-target species conjugates by simply employing an external magnetic field. The specificity of the metal oxide on the surface of the metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material for phosphorylated species also leads to the linkage/enrichment of phosphorylated species with high selectivity.

Metal oxide nano-composite magnetic material, fabrication method, and method for linkage, enrichment, and isolation of phosphorylated species

The invention provides a simple, rapid and cost-effective metal oxide-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MOALDI MS) without the addition of light-absorbing organic-matrix, comprising the use of (a) an inorganic metal oxide with light absorbing capability as an assisting material to render desorption/ionization of samples in laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry and (b) a citric acid buffer as the proton source for enhancing the ionization efficiency for analytes. Metal oxide assisting materials is not only restricted to the uses of films. Metal oxide nanoparticles are also suitable to be used as the assisting materials. Low matrix background, stable surface feature, homogeneous sample deposition, and wide detectable mass range are the merits of MOALDI MS.
