A three-dimensional printing system is provided that includes a tank, a textured substrate connected to the tank, and a reservoir. The tank contains a liquid photopolymer resin. The textured substrate is configured to allow light to pass through into the liquid photopolymer resin. The reservoir contains lubricant and is formed around a perimeter of the tank. The reservoir is connected to the textured substrate and configured to supply the lubricant to the textured substrate.

A 3D printing system includes a tank containing a liquid photopolymer resin. A textured substrate is connected to the tank. The textured substrate is configured such that light passes therethrough into the liquid polymer resin. A layer of an inert material is disposed on the textured surface. Additional liquid photopolymer resin and additional inert material are added to the tank through a tank inlet.

A system for additive manufacturing includes a multi-material vat that includes a plurality of resins. The system also includes a robotic arm that provides at least six degrees of freedom of motion, where the robotic arm moves with the six degrees of freedom to draw resin out of the multi-material vat to form an object. The system further comprises a processor operatively coupled to the robotic arm and configured to control movement of the robotic arm in the six degrees of freedom.

System and method for additive manufacturing

In an aspect, a method for additive manufacture of a three-dimensional object based on a computational model comprises steps of: grayscale photohardening a precursor material to form a portion of the object; and applying a hardened meniscus coating at a feature of the object; wherein the three-dimensional object is formed via at least the combination of the steps of gray scale photohardening and applying the meniscus coating. In some embodiments, the grayscale photohardening step is a grayscale photopolymerization step. In some embodiments, the applying a hardened meniscus coating step is a meniscus equilibrium post-curing step.

A 3D printing system includes a vat containing a liquid photopolymer resin and a rigid base on which an object is configured to be printed. A control arm connected to the rigid base is configured to move the rigid base relative to the vat. A first light source is configured to emit light to the vat to form the object on the rigid base. A second light source is configured to emit light on the object externally of the liquid photopolymer resin in the vat to cure the object.

A 3D printing system includes a tank containing a liquid photopolymer resin. The tank includes an optically transparent window through which light is configured to pass. A heat exchanger is connected to the tank and is configured to cool the liquid polymer resin. A transducer is connected to the tank. Spectroscopic single-molecule localization microscopy

Provided herein are methods, compositions, devices, and systems for the 3D printing of biomedical implants. In particular, methods and systems are provided for 3D printing of biomedical devices (e.g., endovascular stents) using photo-curable biomaterial inks (e.g., or methacrylated poly(diol citrate)).

Certain examples disclose systems and methods for imaging a target. An example method includes: a) activating a subset of light-emitting molecules in a wide field area of a target using an excitation light; b) capturing one or more images of the light emitted from the subset of the molecules illuminated with the excitation light; c) localizing one or more activated light emitting molecules using one or more single molecule microscopic methods to obtain localization information; d) simultaneously capturing spectral information for the same localized activated light emitting molecules using one or more spectroscopic methods; e) resolving one or more non-diffraction limited images of the area of the target using a combination of the localization and spectral information for the localized activated light emitting molecules; and f) displaying the one or more non-diffraction limited images.

Devices, methods, and systems relating to super resolution imaging

Photonic devices are provided comprising a photoactive layer and at least one additional layer, wherein a surface of the photoactive layer or a surface of the at least one additional layer has imprinted thereon a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures corresponding to a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in a recording layer of a pre-written optical media disc. Optical discs as low-cost, quasi-random nanoimprinting templates for photon management

Methods of patterning a layer of a photonic device are provided using stamps or masks derived from pre-written optical media discs. One method comprises pressing a stamp on a surface of a layer of a photonic device, the stamp comprising a stamping surface which defines a negative replica of a quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in a recording layer of a pre-written optical media disc, for a period of time sufficient to imprint the quasi-random pattern of nanostructures defined in the recording layer of the pre-written optical media disc onto the surface of the layer of the photonic device; and removing the stamp. The stamps, the masks, and the photonic devices comprising the patterned layers are also provided.

Certain examples provide a transparent ultrasonic transducer including a transparent substrate and a transparent optical resonator positioned on the transparent substrate. The transparent optical resonator is to facilitate excitation of a biological sample and to receive acoustic emission from the biological sample triggered by the excitation, for example. Certain examples provide a ring resonator ultrasonic detector including a microscope cover slide. The microscope cover sheet includes a substrate and a ring optical resonator positioned on the substrate. The example ring optical resonator is to facilitate illumination of a biological sample and to receive acoustic emission from the biological sample in response to the illumination.
