The invention relates to a motor and a resolver thereof. The resolver includes a resolver stator (), a resolver rotor (). The resolver includes () a plurality of resolver stator teeth () and resolver stator windings () wound around the resolver stator teeth (). The resolver rotor () includes a resolver rotor core () received in a space surrounded by the resolver stator teeth () and capable of rotating around a shaft axis. The resolver stator windings () includes first output windings wound around each of the resolver stator teeth () by a first number of turns, second output windings wound around each of the resolver stator teeth by a second number of turns, and exciting windings wound around each resolver stator teeth by a third number of turns.

Motor and resolver thereof

A brush for an electric motor has a brush body having a front end surface configured to make sliding electrical contact with a commutator of the motor. First and second side surfaces are connected to the front end surface. The first side surface and the second side surface are positioned on opposite sides of the brush body in a rotational direction of the commutator. The front end surface has a first contact surface and a second contact surface that contact the commutator earlier than other regions of the front end surface, and are respectively positioned on diametrically opposed corners of the front end surface. In an initial state, the width of the contact area between the brush and the commutator is increased to extend the commutation time.

An electric motor has a housing, a rotor rotatably installed in the housing, n permanent magnets with the same polarity fixed at an inner surface of the housing. The rotor is a wound armature having a plurality of teeth extending in a radial direction. The housing includes n inner projecting parts, the permanent magnets and the inner projecting parts being alternately arranged in a circumferential direction about the rotor. The magnets generate 2n magnetic circuits via the housing and the rotor, n being an integer greater than one. The size of at least a portion of a first air gap formed between the permanent magnets and the rotor is greater than the size of at least a portion of a second air gap formed between the inner projecting parts and the rotor.

Electric motor

An electric motor comprises a stator and a rotor received in the stator. The stator comprises a shell. The shape of a cross section of the shell perpendicular to the rotor axis is a polygon. The shell comprises a plurality of side walls and arcuate connection portions connecting neighboring side walls. The stator comprises 2n magnets disposed in the arcuate connection portions. The magnets form 2m magnetic poles, where m, n are unequal positive integers. Optionally, m is equal to half or twice n. The permanent magnets of the motor are located in the inner angle of polygon shell. Thus the diameter of rotor can be the greater, and the power density of motor can be increased in the same volume.

A window lift has a motor and a gearbox. The motor is a permanent magnet motor, comprising a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted to the stator. The stator or the rotor comprises a housing and magnets fixed to inner surface of the housing. The radial cross section of the housing comprises n side portions and n connecting portions, where n is an integer greater than 2. Adjacent side portions are connected together by one corresponding connecting portion and the magnets are fixed at portions corresponding to the connecting portions. The radial cross section of each side portion is like a convex curve line, which is curved outwardly relative to a straight line passing through the two ends of the convex curve line.
