User equipment (UE) for semi-static downlink (DL) scheduling is provided. The UE may include a radio frequency (RF) signal processing device and a processor. The RF signal processing device is configured to receive radio resource control (RRC) information from a base station. The processor is coupled to the RF signal processing device. When the RF signal processing device receives a first configuration of a semi-static DL scheduling and a higher layer parameter from the RRC information, the processor determines not to receive the semi-static DL scheduling in a set of symbols if the RF signal processing device does not receive a downlink control information (DCI) from the base station.

User equipment and communication methods for semi-static DL scheduling

Method and UE are provided for determining precoder of MIMO system. In particular, a BS can transmit at least one CSI-RS to the UE. The UE can receive the at least one CSI-RS, and estimate at least one covariance matrix of at least one downlink channel matrix according to the at least one CSI-RS at different times and frequencies. Then, the UE can transmit the at least one covariance matrix or at least one parameter associated with the least one covariance matrix to the BS for the BS to reconstruct at least one covariance matrix, and determine a precoder according to the at least one reconstructed covariance matrix.

Method and user equipment for determining precoder of MIMO system

A beam group reporting method is proposed. The network node may allocate a report configuration for the UE and transmit the allocated report configuration to the UE. The UE may perform the measurement based on the report configuration from the network node and determine at least one beam group based on a resource set associated with the report configuration and the measurement result. Each beam group may comprise two reference-signal (RS) resources respectively associating with different physical cell indexes (PCIs). Then, the UE may report a report comprising at least one beam group to the network node.

Method and apparatus for beam group reporting in mobile communications

Apparatus and methods are provided for configuring application of TCI state to an RS. In one novel aspect, an RRC configuration is introduced for indicating to the UE whether to apply an indicated TCI state to an RS. In particular, a BS can transmit an RRC configuration of an RS to a UE. The UE can receive the RRC configuration from the BS. The BS can transmit an indication of one or more TCI states to the UE. The UE can receive the indication of the one or more TCI states from the BS. The UE can determine whether to apply the TCI state to the RS according to the RRC configuration.

Apparatus and method for configuring application of TCI state to reference signal

A partial sounding method for sounding-reference-signal (SRS) is proposed. The network node may transmit higher-layer signal configuring a fractional SRS resource for partial sounding in configured resource blocks (RBs) to user equipment (UE). The UE may determine an SRS sequence length and a frequency-domain starting position of the fractional SRS resource based on the higher-layer signal to increase the SRS capacity.

Partial sounding method for sounding reference signal in mobile communications

A method for UE capability signaling for supporting reference signal based measurements in NR-U is proposed. A UE transfers its UE capability information to a mobile communication network, wherein the UE capability information includes information regarding whether the UE supports measurements of a CSI-RS on an unlicensed cell. The UE receives configuration from the mobile communication network, wherein the configuration includes information regarding radio resources of the CSI-RS on the unlicensed cell. The UE measures the CSI-RS on the unlicensed cell based on the configuration.

UE capability signaling for supporting reference signal based measurements in 5G new radio unlicensed spectrum (NR-U)

Apparatus and methods are provided for configuring TCI state activation and indication for DL transmission and UL transmission. In one novel aspect, list(s) associated with DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission is/are provided. In particular, a UE can be configured with a plurality of TCI states. After being configured with the TCI states, the UE can receive a command that includes the list(s) associated with DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission. The list(s) records a plurality of TCI state identifications. Accordingly, when the UE receives a value of a TCI field from a DCI and the value maps to designated TCI state identification(s) recorded on the list(s), the UE can apply designated TCI state(s) corresponding to the designated TCI state identification(s) for DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission.

TCI state activation for downlink transmission and uplink transmission

A method for providing multiple physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for a uplink control information (UCI) report can include receiving one or more PUCCH resource configurations from a base station (BS) at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, and determining a first PUCCH resource configuration from the one or more PUCCH resource configurations for reporting a UCI. The first PUCCH resource configuration can indicate multiple frequency domain transmission occasions in a bandwidth. The UCI can be transmitted on at least one of the multiple frequency domain transmission occasions indicated by the first PUCCH resource configuration.

Multiple physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for an uplink control information (UCI) report

User equipment (UE) for sounding reference signal (SRS) triggering is provided. The UE may include a radio frequency (RF) signal processing device and a processor. The RF signal processing device receives first slot offset information and second slot offset information from a network node. The first slot offset information is configured through a radio resource control (RRC) information element (IE) to indicate a first time difference between the down link control information (DCI) and a resource reference slot. The second slot offset information indicates the second time difference between the reference slot and an SRS resource. The processor is coupled to the RF signal processing device. When the RF signal processing device receives the DCI, the processor triggers an SRS transmission for the SRS resource according to the first slot offset information and the second slot offset information.

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE detects one or more signals transmitted from a base station in a first unit of a set of units contained in a bandwidth part of an unlicensed carrier, the first unit having contiguous frequency resources. The one or more signals indicating that the base station has occupied the first unit for a first time duration and indicating a schedule of a set of slots in the first time duration for communication with the base station. The UE receives, in a first time slot of the set of slots and from the base station, a control channel.

Aspects of the disclosure further provide an apparatus and a method for wireless communication. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that receives, from a base station (BS), a downlink (DL) grant scheduling an uplink (UL) transmission to the BS. The DL grant indicates a first type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission. The processing circuitry further receives channel occupancy information for a channel occupancy that is initiated by the BS. The processing circuitry switches, from the first type of channel access procedure, to a second type of channel access procedure for the UL transmission according to the first type of channel access procedure and the channel occupancy information.

The apparatus also receives an assignment of a set of sequences for each PRB of the plurality of PRBs from a wireless network. A user equipment terminal (UE) in a wireless network receives configuration information for a serving cell from a base station. The UE identifies, from the configuration information, a downlink control information (DCI) format that includes a channel occupancy duration (CO duration) field for the serving cell. After detecting the DCI format, the UE determines, from the CO duration field for the serving cell included in the DCI format, a channel occupancy in a time domain for the serving cell at a symbol-level granularity.

Various solutions for dynamic physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring with respect to user equipment and network apparatus in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may receive a switching group configuration indicating a group of serving cells which are bundled. The apparatus may receive a first configuration and a second configuration. The apparatus may perform control signal monitoring according to the first configuration. The apparatus may determine to switch to the second configuration on a first serving cell of the group of serving cells according to an indication associated with the first serving cell. The apparatus may apply the switching to all serving cells within the group of serving cells according to the indication associated with the first serving cell.
