The invention relates to a multi-functional label slide, particularly to a label slide adapted to be marked by means of laser induction, thermal induction or ink-jet process. The label slide comprises a substrate wherein at least one area is formed as a mark area. The mark area at least comprises the following structure: a first label layer formed on at least one side of the mark area and a second label layer formed on one side of the first label layer opposite to the substrate. Therefore, the label slide of the invention can be marked by at least two marking ways mentioned above.

A recording apparatus characterized in that comprising a firmware configured to execute the following operation: performing a recording operation onto a rewritable optical recording medium with a recording speed selected from one of a plurality of recording speeds for an one-time optical recording medium; wherein the recording layer of the rewritable optical recording medium comprises at least four elements from Ge, In, Sb, Te, and Sn, wherein the component proportion of Sb/Te is ranged from 3 to 8, and the thickness of the recording layer is ranged from 3 nm to 25 nm.

Recording apparatus and method

An optical recording medium is equipped with a light transmitting layer to have visual effects. Patterns with different visual effects can be printed on the upper and low surfaces of the light transmitting layer. Alternatively, visual effects can be presented by directing light out of an upper light grating from a low printing layer. The optical recording medium can not only record information but also present visual effects.

Optical recording media with specific vision label layer

The present invention is related to an optical recording media having a printable layer with high specular gloss. The optical recording media comprises a first ink-absorbing layer formed on an outermost layer at an opposite side of a recording/reading surface of the optical recording media; and a second ink-absorbing layer formed on an inner side of the first ink-absorbing layer. A surface of said first ink-absorbing layer is printed with inks of colors of cyan, magenta, yellow, black to have an average specular gloss value at 20 degree angle greater than or equal to 30GU, an average specular gloss value at 60 degree angle of the four colored inks greater than or equal to 70GU, and an average specular value at 85 degree angle of the four colored inks greater than or equal to 88GU.

Optical recording media and method of forming a printable layer thereon

An optical recording media includes a substrate, a cap layer opposite to the substrate, at least one first stacked recording structure, at least one second stacked recording structure, and a space layer. The first stacked recording structure including a first recording layer disposed between the substrate and the cap layer and a reflective layer disposed between the substrate and the first recording layer is disposed between the substrate and the cap layer. The second stacked recording structure including a second recording layer disposed between the substrate and the cap layer and an NbOinterface layer disposed between the substrate and the second recording layer is disposed between the substrate and the cap layer. The spacer layer is disposed between the first and second stacked recording structures, the first stacked recording structures, and the second stacked recording structures. One of the first stacked recording structures is disposed directly on the substrate.
