The present invention discloses an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, including: a first terminal configured to receive a first voltage; a second terminal configured to receive a second voltage; a detection voltage generating circuit configured to provide a detection voltage according to the first voltage and the second voltage; a warning circuit configured to generate a control signal according to the detection voltage, in which the control signal indicates a normal condition when the detection voltage satisfies predetermined voltage setting, and the control signal indicates an abnormal condition when the detection voltage does not satisfy the predetermined voltage setting; and a protected circuit configured to carry out a self-protection operation when receiving the control signal indicating the abnormal condition.

Electrostatic discharge protection circuit

This disclosure provides an ESD protection circuit coupled to a first and a second terminals of a differential-pair circuit. The ESD protection circuit includes: an ESD sensing unit coupled to the first and the second terminals and sensing electrical changes at the first and the second terminals to generate a first trigger signal; and a first discharging unit coupled to the ESD sensing unit and turning on a first discharging path according to the first trigger signal.

An impedance calibration device provided includes a timing device, a first transmitter, a first variable resistor, a second variable resistor and a first receiver. The first variable resistor is used to receive a first adjustment code. The second variable resistor is used to receive a second adjustment code. The first receiver generates a first contact digital signal according to a first contact voltage. The first receiver generates a first terminate digital signal according to a first terminate voltage and the first adjustment code. The first receiver generates a first load digital signal according to a load voltage and the second adjustment. The timing device dynamically adjust the first adjustment code and the second adjustment code according to the first contact digital signal, the first terminate digital signal and the first load digital signal.

Impedance calibration device and method thereof

This disclosure provides a charging-steering amplifier circuit and the control method thereof. The charging-steering amplifier circuit includes a charging-steering differential amplifier and a sample and hold circuit. The charging-steering amplifier circuit operates in a reset phase or in an amplifying phase to amplify a differential input signal. The control method includes steps of: in the reset phase, obtaining a common mode voltage of the differential input signal according to the differential input signal; in the reset phase, providing the common mode voltage to one of the charging-steering differential amplifier and the sample and hold circuit; in the reset phase, sampling the differential input signal by the sample and hold circuit to generate a voltage signal; and in the amplifying phase, inputting the voltage signal to the charging-steering differential amplifier.

Charge-steering amplifier circuit and control method thereof

The multi-channel power supply comprises a first channel, a second channel, a current sensing module, a current average control circuit, and a modulator. The first channel and the second channel respectively transform an input voltage into an output voltage according to a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal and a second PWM signal. The current sensing module respectively sense a first channel current and a second channel current to output a first sensing current and a second sensing current. The current average control circuit generates a first error current and a second error current according to the first sensing current and the second sensing current and an average current thereof. The modulator generates the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal according to the first error current, the second error current and the output voltage.

Multi-channel power supply and current balancing control method thereof

An impedance calibration device includes: a variable impedance, an operational unit, an analog-digital converter, and a controller. The operational unit receives a first analog signal and a second analog signal, and performs a difference operation to generate an output voltage. The analog-digital converter generates an adjustment code according to the output voltage. The controller is coupled to the analog-digital converter and the variable impedance, and adjusts a resistance value of the variable impedance according to the adjustment code.

Charge pump feedback control device and method are provided. The device is coupled to the charge pump unit which receives an input voltage so as to generate an output voltage and has switches and at least one capacitor, the device includes: a compensation unit, a modulation unit, and a phase control unit. The compensation unit receives the output voltage, compensates the output voltage for stability, and generates an error signal. The modulation unit receives the error signal, modulates the error signal, and correspondingly generates a modulation signal. The phase control unit receives the modulation signal so as to generate phase signal, and controls the plurality of switches of the charge pump unit according to the plurality of phase signal so as to generate the output voltage through the input voltage charging/discharging at least one capacitor of the charge pump unit.

Charge pump feedback control device and method using the same

A switched-mode power supply (SMPS) uses an equivalent inductor of bonding wire(s) and lead frame(s) to replace a traditional external inductor. A current-controlled pulse width modulation (PWM) modulator and a current-controlled pulse frequency modulation (PFM) modulator are optionally employed for high frequency switching, so as to mate a low inductance value of the bonding wire(s) and lead frame(s) and achieve reduced cost, low power consumption and low complexity.
