A method of automatically switching between manners of answering calls by vehicle occupants in a vehicle connects a vehicle-mounted system with terminal device of occupant. Information as to persons in the vehicle is detected. Information as to different occupants allows method to recommend one of a first manner, a second manner, and a third manner of responding to an incoming call, the driver being able to select his preferred manner by pushbutton mounted on steering wheel. Driving safety is improved, and privacy of a personal conversation can be maintained. A vehicle-mounted system applying the method is also disclosed.

A method for indicating to a user the exact location of a parked vehicle includes obtaining a plurality of panoramic images of a vehicle when being driven using a panoramic lens. A direction of driving of the vehicle is identified based on the panoramic images and a determination as to location is made when the vehicle arrives at a parking location. When the vehicle is parked, parking position information is sent to a mobile terminal held by the driver or other user. A vehicle-mounted device for implementing the method is also disclosed.

A method of managing a keypad of a handheld electronic device comprises promoting a user whether a size of the keypad needs adjustment when the handheld electronic device is in a single hand operating mode. When a movement of the finger along a diagonal direction of the keypad away from the keypad is detected, the size of the keypad is increased. When a movement of the finger alone the diagonal direction of the keypad toward the keypad is detected, the size of the keypad is decreased. When the movement of the finger is stopped and a 'Done' button is pressed, the adjustment of the size of the keypad is completed, and the size of the keypad after adjustment is stored in a storage module.

In a method for processing information using a communication device, a plurality of specific events of the communication device sets a receiver number of a receiver device. A specific message comprising predetermined characters and state information of the communication device is compiled, upon the condition that one of the specific events is triggered.
