The present invention provides an artificial joint, including a femur connecting device, a tibia connecting device, and a receiving device, wherein the femur connecting device is connected and fixed with the receiving device and the tibia connecting device via a fixing member unparallel to a joint-twisting axis, and wherein cushion member receives the femur connecting device via a pivot-receiving surface and receives the tibia connecting device via a twist-receiving surface, thereby providing an durable and reliable artificial joint.

Artificial knee joint

A structure improvement of orthopaedic implant for connecting a distal femur and a proximal tibia, and a stem was implanted into the proximal tibia, in which formed to allow inter-engagement between the stem of the tibia and the structure improvement of orthopaedic implant. The structure improvement of orthopaedic implant includes a tibial baseplate, a tibial insert, and a reinforcement. The tibial baseplate forms a recess having a bottom that has a central portion defining a through hole extending through the tibial baseplate. The tibial insert includes a support, a through region, and a projection, wherein an end of the tibial insert forming the projection corresponding to the recess of the tibial baseplate for press-fitting to the tibial baseplate. The reinforcement is inset in the tibial insert and includes a sleeve and a bolt. Structure improvement of an orthopaedic implant of an artificial knee joint

A connecting device of joint prosthesis includes a stem means provided for being inserted into a medullary cavity of a bone, a receiving means provided for receiving a bone structure near the bone, an offset connecting means connected between the stem means and the receiving means, and an inserting member. The offset connecting means includes a first connecting component and a second connecting component. The inserting member inserts into an inserting bore of the first connecting component and an inserting recess of the second connecting component to make the first connecting component being fixed and positioned at the second connecting component, wherein there is an offset distance between the longitudinal central axis of the first connecting component and the longitudinal central axis of the second connecting component. Thereby the connecting device of joint prosthesis is adjustable for fitting individual patients with more effect in regard of the musculoskeletal mechanics.

Connecting device of joint prosthesis

An artificial joint fixation mechanism has a base for being attached to an artificial joint, a stem for guiding an artificial joint to engage with a human bone, and a sleeve. The base defines a conic shaft hole therethrough. At least a positioning section and at least a threaded section are extended adjacent an end of the shaft hole. The stem includes an engaging pole at an end thereof for jointing to an artificial joint. The sleeve is threaded for screwing to the threaded section and defines an inner cone hole therethrough. In use, the engaging pole of the stem implants into the shaft hole. The sleeve is screwed to the threaded section, and the inner cone hole reversely pressing against the guiding section. Thus the stem is pressed reliably.
