Techniques for providing a personal biosensor accessory attachment are disclosed. In some embodiments, a personal biosensor accessory attachment system is disclosed. In some embodiments, a personal biosensor accessory attachment system includes a biosensor for detecting a bio-signal; and a personal biosensor device that is adapted to securely hold the biosensor, in which the personal biosensor device can be adapted to be mechanically secured to a plurality of computing devices.

A dry sensor EEG/EMG and motion sensing system for seizure detection and monitoring is disclosed. In some embodiments, a system for seizure detection/monitoring is provided that can measure a user's EEG/EMG and motor activity, automatically detect an epileptic seizure and perform actions, such as triggering an alarm and/or turning off the provoking stimulation. In some embodiments, a system for seizure detection/monitoring is provided that can be used to continuously monitor and store a user's EEG/EMG and motor activity for doctor evaluation. In some embodiments, a system for seizure detection/monitoring is provided that can be mounted directly on a user's head using active dry EEG sensors. In some embodiments, a system for seizure detection/monitoring is provided that can be mounted into/onto a pair of glasses (e.g., 3D glasses), and the user's eyes can be automatically covered by the glasses if a seizure is detected.

Techniques for providing bio signal based mobile device applications are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system for bio signal based mobile device applications includes a bio signal sensor (e.g., biosensor) or multiple biosensors (e.g., multiple biosensors for EEG detection, or multiple biosensors that can each detect different types of bio signals), a bio signal processing unit, the mobile device, and a software application(s) that utilize the bio signal information for various applications (e.g., practical applications, entertainment applications, social networking applications, and/or other applications).

A contoured bioelectrical signal electrode and a sensor headset are disclosed. In some embodiments, an apparatus for a bioelectrical signal sensor includes a contoured bioelectrical signal sensor connected to a holder comprising an electrode set, the electrode set including a contoured electrode, in which the contoured electrode is a dry electrode, in which the contoured electrode includes a cap portion with a protruding shape for maintaining contact with a user's head and a post portion protruding out of a side of the cap portion opposite the protruding shape, the post portion having a retaining ridge, in which the cap portion with the protruding shape and the post are electrically connected. In some embodiments, the contoured electrode is wrapped in a conductive fabric.

In one embodiment, a method for specifying addressability in a memory-mapped device is disclosed. A data access primitive is used to model addressablity for the memory-mapped device. Addressability comprises an address matching function, a lane matching function and one or more bus connections. A first starting address for the memory-mapped device is specified. A first set of addressing matching function, lane matching function and one or more bus connections for the memory-mapped device is generated using the data access primitive and the first starting address.
