A height adjustment apparatus for a projector includes a lifting assembly, a pushing rod, and an operation member. The projector includes a bottom wall having a recessed portion extending towards the inner side of the projector. The lifting assembly is received in the recessed portion, and includes a housing secured to the recessed portion, a supporting member, a first engaging member, and a second engaging member. The supporting member has one end pivotably connected to the housing the other end capable of being rotated out of the recessed portion. The first engaging member is connected to the supporting member and includes a first toothed engaging surface. The second engaging member includes a second toothed engaging surface, and is slidable in the housing. The pushing rod and the operation member control the engagement between the first and second toothed engaging surfaces to allow the supporting member to rotate or not.

Height adjustment apparatus and projector having same

A projector has a disassembling lock for preventing the lamp cover from being disassembled when the projector is secured to a ceiling. The disassembling lock includes a sleeve, a latching rod, a stop block, and a coil spring. The sleeve is secured in the projector and has a first sleeve portion and a second sleeve portion. The latching rod has a first rod portion, a second rod portion, and a flange formed between the first rod portion and the second rod portion, the flange is slidable inside the first sleeve portion. The stop block is fixed in a distal end of the first sleeve portion away from the second sleeve portion, the stop block defines a hole for the first rod portion sliding to the lamp cover. The coil spring is coiled around the first rod portion and held between the flange and the stop block.

Projector with lamp cover lock

A locking structure of a housing for a portable electronic device is disclosed. The housing defines an opening therein. The locking structure includes an engagement-receiving member, a bended rod, and a securing member. The engagement-receiving member is fixed to the housing so as to partially seal the opening but leave a rod entrance between the engagement-receiving member and the housing. The engagement-receiving member defines two rod-bearing portion at the rod entrance. The bended rod includes two distal shaft portions and a mesial swinging portion. The two distal shaft portions are borne by the rod-bearing portions respectively. The swinging potion is received in the opening and is capable of swinging out from the opening. The securing member is shaped so as to tightly fit into the entrance, thereby securing the bended rod to the engagement-receiving member.

Locking structure

A height adjusting apparatus, for adjusting the height of a projector, includes a support leg, an air-pressure cylinder connected to the projector, and a switch. The air-pressure cylinder and the support leg together form a sealed chamber. When the pressure of the air inside the chamber is regulated, the height of the air-pressure cylinder and the height of the projector change. The switch is mounted on the air-pressure cylinder to create a gap to allow air to exit or enter the chamber when the switch is open.

A lens apparatus includes a barrel and a focus member mounted on the barrel. The barrel includes a fixing body and an engaging unit disposed at an outside wall of the fixing body. The focus member includes a retaining body contacted with the outside wall of the fixing body and a retaining unit disposed at an inside wall of the retaining body. The retaining unit and the engaging unit fasten each other for mounting the focus member on the barrel. When a force is applied on the focus member, the focus member drives the barrel to rotate by a friction generated between the retaining unit and the engaging unit.
