A circular saw with a moving mechanism includes a base, a moving unit and a cutting unit. The base has a worktable which has a front side and an opposite rear side, and defines a first plane which extends substantially horizontally from the rear side toward the front side. The moving unit is disposed above the worktable and includes a supporting frame disposed on the worktable. A first sliding shaft and a second sliding shaft are located parallel to each other and disposed at an interval relative to each other on the supporting frame. A moving member is also disposed on the first and second sliding shafts. A second plane is defined as a plane extending through an axis of the first sliding shaft and an axis of the second sliding shaft. Moreover, an included angle is formed between the first plane and the second plane and ranges from greater than zero degrees to smaller than 90 degrees. The cutting unit is pivotally mounted on the moving member and is linearly movable along the worktable in a horizontal direction.

A width adjustable worktable includes a worktable body, an extension member movable relative to the body, a first guide rod connected to the extension member and a control set rotatably mounted in the extension member. The control set is operable to move the first guide rod between a locking position, where the first guide rod is prevented from moving relative to the worktable body, and an adjustable unlocking position, where the first guide rod is unlocked and movable relative to the worktable body for allowing the user to move the extension member carried by the first guide rod to adjust the width of the worktable.

An adjustable riving knife assembly including a riving knife and a saw machine riving knife adjustment mechanism, the adjustment mechanism including a locating member and a locking unit. The locating member defines a track, and the riving knife has a riving knife body and a coupling portion inserted into the track. The locking unit includes an axle holder affixed to the locating member, a brake mounted on the axle holder, an operating member connected to the brake and a locking member to be driven by the brake. Rotation of the operating member causes the brake to move the locking member relative to the riving knife between a locking position, where the locking member engages the riving knife, and an unlocking or adjusting position, where the locking member is disengaged from the riving knife.

Saw machine riving knife adjustment mechanism

A positioning device for a turnable table of a saw machine having a pivot shaft that pivotally connects a pair of clamping units. A pressing member with an attachment portion for attaching to a coupling unit may be formed on each clamping unit. By manipulating a trigger of the coupling unit, the pair of clamping units can be driven to rotate a pair of corresponding clench members for selectively clamping or unclamping a base of the saw machine. Thereby, the turnable table can be secured in place upon adjustment.

A sawing machine having a miter angle adjustment assembly includes a machine base, a worktable rotatably connected to the machine base and rotatable about an axis, a cutter unit mounted to the worktable, a tightening member to lock movement of the worktable relative to the machine base and a driving device set. The driving device set includes a driving member pivotally mounted to the worktable and an eccentric member coaxially rotatable with the driving member to move the tightening member. The eccentric member is controllable by the driving member to rotate between a first position and a second position to move the tightening member into engagement with or away from the machine base.

A lifting machine base assembly for use in a machine tool includes a machine base and a lateral wheel set. The lateral wheel set includes two lateral wheel frames respectively pivotally connected to two opposite sidewalls of the machine base, and a wheel shaft rotatably inserted through the machine base and eccentrically connected between the lateral wheel frames. A driving member is fastened to one end of the wheel shaft and operable to raise and lower the lateral wheel frames relative to the machine base and to further force the lateral wheels into contact with the floor to lift the machine base partially or wholly from the floor, allowing the operator to conveniently move the machine tool to a desired position by rotation of the lateral wheels.

A folding tool stand includes a platform connected to a base frame. The platform is pivotally and slidingly connected at a first side thereof to the base frame and is pivotally connected at a second side thereof to links that are pivotally connected to the base frame. A leg support is pivotally connected to the base frame. A locking device is provided to maintain the platform in an extended position. In the collapsed position, the platform is guided by the links to be positioned along the base frame. In the extended position, the links guide and support the platform in a position spaced from the base frame. In an alternate embodiment, a driving device is used to provide support to the second side of the platform during expanding and collapsing of the folding tool stand.

A foldable tool stand includes a base frame, a platform pivotally and slidingly connected to the base frame at a first side, a leg support having a top end pivotally connected to the base frame, a pair of links pivotally coupled between a second side of the platform and the base frame, a driving member pivotally connected to the links, and a follower set pivotally connected to the base frame. The driving member and follower set interact to selectively lock the foldable tool stand in either an extended supporting position, where the second side of the platform is spaced from the base frame, or a collapsed position, where the second side of the platform lies adjacent to the base frame.

A folding tool stand includes a platform connected to a base frame. The platform is pivotally and slidingly connected at a first side thereof to the base frame and is pivotally connected at a second side thereof to links that are pivotally connected to the base frame. A leg support is pivotally connected to the base frame. A locking device is provided to maintain the platform in an extended position. In the collapsed position, the platform is guided by the links to be positioned along the base frame. In the extended position, the links guide and support the platform in a position spaced from the base frame. In a first embodiment, spring members bias the platform into the extended position. In an alternate embodiment, a driving device is used to provide support to the second side of the platform during the expansion and collapse of the folding tool stand.

A combination power tool with a machine base, an independently operable portable circular saw, and a connection device for fastening the portable circular saw to the machine base to form a miter saw. The portable circular saw has a power supply unit including a first power socket that is provided at the front side of the portable circular saw and selectively electrically connectable to the motor of the portable circular saw, a second power socket provided at the rear side of the portable circular saw and selectively electrically connectable to the motor of the portable circular saw, and a power cable for connecting an external power source to one of the first power socket and the second power socket.

Combination power tool

A foldable tool stand includes a main shaft, a pair of base plates affixed to the main shaft and two pairs of legs. The main shaft has a first end, a second end, and positioning members respectively provided at the first end and the second end for securing a machine tool. The legs are movable from an extended supporting position to support the stand on the floor to a collapsed position where the legs are closely aligned along the main shaft. By means of utilizing the foldable characteristic of the legs, the foldable tool stand and the machine tool carried on the foldable tool stand provide significant benefits because of its high mobility.

A nail gun includes a body, a handle connected fixedly to and extending laterally from the body, a nail ejecting member disposed on the body and formed with a nail discharging passage having opposite inlet and outlet ends, a magazine member connected to the nail ejection member, and an elongated nail guiding plate disposed within the nail discharging passage, and a driving member. The nail guiding plate has a pivot end disposed pivotally within the inlet end of the nail discharging passage, a free end disposed within the outlet end of the nail discharging passage, and a driven portion disposed between the pivot end and the free end. The driving member is connected to the driven portion of the nail guiding plate for driving the free end of the nail guiding plate to pivot between first and second positions.

A collapsible stand includes a platform for supporting a machine, two first legs each having a top end pivotally connected to the platform, two second legs each of which is pivotally connected to each first leg and has a top part slidably inserted through a sleeve of the platform, at least one springy or biasing member and a locking device. The springy or biasing member is retained in a sleeve-like or coaxial manner on retained in a sleeve-like manner one of the second legs. The locking device is connected to the platform for fixing the second legs in position after spreading the stand open such that the first legs and second legs support the platform at a predetermined height.

A sawing machine having an angle indicator has a worktable, a pivot shaft, a saw blade holder fastened to the pivot shaft as the pivoting center thereof and having a motor, and a saw blade connected to the saw blade holder, rotatable by the motor and passing through the worktable. The angle indicator has an angle indicating member having an index zone and a following member. The following member is fixed on the pivot shaft and connected to the angle indicating member. Thereby the saw blade is moved with the saw blade holder, and the following member is pivoted with the saw blade holder by the pivot shaft to result in movement of the index zone when the saw blade holder pivots, so that the displacement of the index zone corresponds to the movement of the saw blade.
