A data transmission method is provided. The data transmission method may include the following steps. A first memory of a master microcontroller (MCU) of an apparatus may store an encrypted header and firmware data associated with a slave MCU of the apparatus. The encrypted header may include information corresponding to the firmware data, and the firmware data may include a plurality of firmware blocks. Then, the master MCU may transmit the encrypted header to the slave MCU. Then, the slave MCU may decrypt the encrypted header to obtain the information corresponding to the firmware data. Then, the slave MCU may obtain the firmware blocks from the master MCU according to a plurality of pre-defined settings and the information corresponding to the firmware data. Then, a second memory of the MCU may store the firmware blocks.

Data transmission method and apparatus thereof

A scanning-type optical antenna is provided, which includes a housing, a fine-tune mirror, a light signal emitter, a light signal receiver, a scanning light receiver and a rotational mechanism. The housing includes a window. The scanning light receiver disposed on the housing receives an input sector scanning light from a target antenna to generate plural light speckles. The rotational mechanism mounts the housing and adjusts the deflection angle between the housing and the target antenna according to the light speckles. The fine-tune mirror is disposed outside the housing and corresponding to the window. The light signal emitter inside the housing transmits an output signal light to the target antenna after being reflected by the fine-tune mirror through the window. The input signal light of the target antenna is transmitted to the light signal receiver inside the housing after being reflected by the fine-tune mirror and passing through the window.

Scanning-type optical antenna and control method thereof

A sunlight modulation device includes a light focusing module and a light deflection module. The light focusing module is configured to let incident sunlight pass through and to converge direct sunlight of the incident sunlight. The light deflection module is configured to separate the converged direct sunlight from diffusion sunlight of the incident sunlight by reflecting the converged direct sunlight. The above-mentioned sunlight modulation device allows more diverse configurations for solar panels, heating devices or the like means, as well as illumination purpose.

A projection screen includes a substrate and an optical microstructure. The substrate has a projection area for projecting an image onto the projection area. The projection area includes a plurality of arrayed optical regions. Each of the optical regions includes a first and second optical sub-region with optical characteristics of reflective scattering/transmissive scattering/specular reflection and simple transmission, wherein an area of the second optical sub-region is larger than that of the first optical sub-region. The optical microstructure is arranged on the substrate for guiding the light of the image to a specific direction. The above-mentioned projection screen with two or more optical characteristics, for example, can be at the same time as the front projection screen and the rear projection screen, or allows the user to watch background image behind the projection screen. A projection system including the above-mentioned projection screen is also disclosed.

Projection screen and projection system thereof

A display screen includes a substrate and a fluorescent material. The substrate includes a plurality of pixel regions arranged in an array, wherein each pixel region includes a fluorescent region and a transparent region, and the area of the transparent region is larger than the area of the fluorescent region. The fluorescent material is arranged in the fluorescent region and excited by an excitation light to emit a visible light to form an image. The above-mentioned display screen allows a viewer to see the images formed by the fluorescent region and the environmental image at the other side of display screen. A display system including the above-mentioned display screen is also disclosed.

Display screen and display system thereof

The present invention relates to a sectional dynamic-driving backlight module and a head-up display device thereof. The sectional dynamic-driving backlight module comprises an optical-directional lens unit and an optical-homogenizing unit. The optical-directional lens unit is provided for converging the light beams emitted by the light source assemblies in the backlight module into light beams with a smaller divergent angle, and the optical-homogenizing unit is used for further homogenizing the light beams, so as to make all display regions of the LCD show a uniform illumination. Therefore, all images showed on an eyebox of the driver are distinct. Besides, each of the light source assemblies consist a red-light LED chip, a green-light LED chip, a blue-light LED chip, and a white-light LED chip, and these LED chips may be controlled by a controlling PCB for lighting respectively or simultaneously, so as to achieve a sectional dynamic display.

Sectional dynamic-driving backlight module and head-up display device thereof

The present invention relates to a focus-adjustable device and a system thereof, wherein the focus-adjustable device is fabricated by forming a single closed flow channel in the internal of a transparent substrate, so as to make the substrate and the single closed flow channel together form a specific lens structure similar to the Fresnel lens. In the present invention, when a light illuminates on one side of the substrate, the light would be concentrated at a specific focus point distancing from the other side of the substrate after being deflected by the specific lens structure. Moreover, a fluid having a specific refractive index can be filled into the single closed flow channel by a flow channel opening, so as to carry out the purpose of adjusting the focus of the specific lens structure; or to make the light parallelly pass through the specific lens structure without any deflection.

Focus-adjustable device and system thereof

A color filter comprises a first filter element and a second filter element. The first filter element includes a plurality of arrayed filter regions allowing a first spectral component of incident light to pass and reflecting other spectral components of the incident light. The second filter element includes a plurality of arrayed filter regions allowing a second spectral component of the incident light to pass and reflecting other spectral components of the incident light. The center of the filter regions of the second filter element is deviated from the center of the filter regions of the first filter element so that the light reflected from the first filter element can pass through the second filter element. Thereby is enhanced the energy efficiency of the color filter. An edge-type backlight module using the abovementioned color filter is also disclosed.

A projection screen includes a substrate having a projection area for a projection device to project an image onto the projection area. The projection area includes a plurality of arrayed optical regions, and each pixel of the image corresponding to the at least one optical region. Each of the optical regions includes a first optical sub-region and a second optical sub-region with different optical characteristics, such as reflective scattering, transmissive scattering, simple transmission or specular reflection. The above-mentioned projection screen with the optical characteristics of two or more, for example, can be at the same time as the front projection screen and the rear projection screen, or allows the user to watch background image behind the projection screen. A projection system including the above-mentioned projection screen is also disclosed.

A beam generating apparatus includes a laser light source, a speckle suppressing module, a light homogenizing module and a driving unit. The laser light source outputs a laser beam. The speckle suppressing module includes two biconic lenses and a diffuser. The first biconic lens is disposed on a transmission path of the laser beam. The diffuser is located on the transmission path of the laser beam between the first and second biconic lenses. The light homogenizing module is disposed on the transmission path of the laser beam from the second biconic lens. The driving unit drives the diffuser to move with respect to the laser beam so that the ratio of the Mof the laser beam exiting from the second biconic lens in a first direction to the Mthereof in a second direction is greater than 2, wherein the two directions are substantially perpendicular to each other.

Beam generating apparatus

The present invention relates to a polarized light emitting diode (LED) device and the method for manufacturing the same, in which the LED device comprises: a base, a light emitting diode (LED) chip, a polarizing waveguide and a packaging material. In an exemplary embodiment, the LED chip is disposed on the base and is configured with a first light-emitting surface for outputting light therefrom; and the waveguide, being comprised of a polarization layer, a reflection layer, a conversion layer and a light transmitting layer, is disposed at the optical path of the light emitted from the LED chip; and the packaging material is used for packaging the waveguide, the LED chip and the base into a package.

Polarized light emitting diode device and method for manufacturing the same

A color LED display device without color separation comprises a substrate, a plurality of display units, a power supply unit, and a control unit. Each display unit comprises a driving chip, at least one red-light LED chip, at least one green-light LED chip, at least one blue-light LED chip, and a micro optical device assembly. The micro optical device assembly is disposed above the red-light, green-light and blue-light LED chips. When the control unit controls the display unit to emit light, the red-light, green-light and blue-light LED chips emit red, green and blue lights respectively and simultaneously. The red, green and blue lights pass through the micro optical device assembly, such that the light paths of the red, green and blue lights are changed and the three lights are combined on a two-dimensional plane. Therefore, the color separation phenomenon of the conventional color LED display device is solved.

Color LED display device without color separation

A projection device capable of effectively performing the light utilization is disclosed, particularly comprising polarized beam components and reflective components regarded for controlling polarizing of light, reducing light missing during light transferring from a light source to a projection lens set, increase light utilization efficiency, wherein the polarizing beam components are regarded for separating the light into two orthogonal polarization waves; the present invention further comprises two modulated diaphragms regarded for controlling the strength of said two orthogonal polarization waves, equaling brightness of the polarization waves at final vision, keeping a good quality in final vision.

Projection device for effectively performing the light utilization

A composite color separation system, comprises: a light control module, a light guide module and a light splitting module. The light control module has a lighting unit and a lens unit, in which the lighting unit includes an array of lighting elements whereas there are at least two types of lighting elements in the array for emitting at least two beams of different wavelengths. The light from the lighting unit is directed to enter the lens unit before being discharged out of the light control module. The light guide module comprises: a first light incident surface, for receiving the beams from the light control module; a first light emergence surface; and a light guide structure, for guiding the beams to the first light emergence surface where they are discharged out of the light guide module to the light splitting module. The light splitting module is used for splitting the beams.

A microstructural polarized light-guide device comprises an unpolarized light source module, a subwavelength polarization beam splitter structure and a polarization conversion module, the unpolarized light source module comprises a light-guide plate and a light source at the edge of the light-guide plate, the material of the light-guide plate is PMMA with the characteristic of high transparency, the surface of the light-guide plate has a plurality of extraction patterns, the polarization beam splitter structure is a nano-scale structure and comprises a dielectric nanograting layer and a metallic nanograting layer, and the dielectric nanograting layer and the metallic nanograting layer are vertically stacked with each other, the dielectric nanograting layer is integrated with a surface opposite to the surface with the plurality of extraction patterns, the polarization conversion module is disposed on the surface with the plurality of extraction patterns of the light-guide plate.
