In a data processing device and a method for analyzing stability of the data processing device, one or more sets of equalization parameters and a predetermined bit error ratio (BER) are received. Times and voltages of data points that represent a waveform of an electronic signal generated by the data processing device are read, and an output type of the electronic signal is selected to obtain a time interval of outputs of the electronic signal. Optimal equalization parameters are selected from the one or more sets of equalization parameters to compute a sample interval. Interfering voltages of the electronic signal are computed to select a frequency which is equal to the predetermined BER, and the interfering voltages corresponding to the selected frequency are obtained. An eye pattern is established using the interfering voltages corresponding to the selected frequency, and a determination is made according to the eye pattern.

Data processing device and method for analyzing stability of data processing device

A robotic arm control system is provided. In, the robotic arm control system, any three points A, B, and C of an object to be determined are picked, thereby creating an original coordinate system. A robotic arm is directed to rotate around the x-axis of the original coordinate system to reach the points B and C. During the rotation of the robotic arm, the three points A, B, and C are recorded by a visual process. A non-linear mapping relation of the original coordinate system and the operation coordinate system is calculated according to length ratios, an angular ratio, and a differential ratio of the difference of the length ratios to the angle between the line A-B and the line A-C, thereby controlling the movement of the robotic arm according to the non-linear mapping relation. The disclosure further provides a robotic arm control method.

A computing device and a method for scattering parameter equivalent circuit reads a scattering parameter file from a storage device. A non-common-pole rational function of the scattering parameters in the scattering parameter file is created by applying a vector fitting algorithm to the scattering parameters. Passivity of the non-common-pole rational function is enforced if the non-common-pole rational function does not satisfy a determined passivity requirement.

Computing device and method for enforcing passivity of scattering parameter equivalent circuit

An equalizer for compensating transmission losses of electronic communication signals includes a circuit board and a compensation module. The compensation module includes a pair of input pins, a pair of output pins, and at least two resistors. When a signal transmitted by the circuit board is received by the input pins, a first portion of the signal is directly output from the output pins, a second portion of the signal is reflected by the first resistor and transmitted back to the output pins to output, and a third portion of the signal is reflected by the second resistor and transmitted back to the output pins to output, such that output of the equalizer applies two stages of compensation.

Equalizer for loss-compensation of high-frequency signals generated in transmission channels

A simulation system for producing equivalent circuits reads data corresponding to a tabular W element format in a storage device, and adds data of the tabular W element format file using interpolation algorithm. A frequency-dependent transmission matrix is transformed into an N-port network matrix describing electrical properties of a multi-input and multi-output network. An N-port network matrix is transformed into a S-parameter matrix. A range of frequency of a s-parameter is determined and numbers of pole-residue, times for recursion and durable maximum system errors in the equivalent circuit is also determined. A vector fitting algorithm is performed and a rational function matrix composed with s-parameters is produced, to produce a general SPICE equivalent circuit based on the generated rational function matrix.

In an electronic device and a method of generating composite electrical signals, a plurality of post-processing software is installed. An output file, which comprises times and voltages of data points that represent an electrical signal, of an electronic circuit simulation software is loaded, and is read using the installed post-processing software. A time interval of outputs of the electrical signal is obtained by selecting an output type of the electrical signal. The worst bit combination of outputs of the electrical signal is analyzed according to the times, the voltage, and the time interval, and a composite electrical signal is generated according to the worst bit combination.

Electronic device and method of generating composite electrical signals

A computing device and a method reads a circuit board layout file from a storage device, and selects a first signal transmission line from circuit board layout file as a target line. The computing device and method computes a distance between the target line and the aggressor line corresponding to each unit sample length. If the distance is more than or equal to a height of a sample region, the computing device and method defines the height of the sample region as a crosstalk space between the target line and the aggressor line corresponding to a unit sample length. Otherwise, if the distance is less than the height of the sample region, the computing device and method defines the distance as the crosstalk space between the target line and the aggressor line corresponding to the unit sample length.

A method of generating electrical rule file for circuit board by using an electronic device. The electronic device acquires a component file, a wiring file, a wiring group file, a first electrical rule file, and a second electrical rule file from a storage device. The electronic device integrates the component file and the wiring file to be an integrated file according to wire names, acquires group names and inserts the group names into the integrated file according to the wire names, acquires first electrical rules and inserts the first electrical rules into the integrated file according to the group names, acquires second electrical rules and inserts the second electrical rules into the integrated file according to the group names, to complete the integrated file, and saves the completed file to the storage device.

Electronic device and method for generating electrical rule file for circuit board

A simulation system and method for generating equivalent circuits compatible with HSPICE reads data corresponding to N-port network system format in a storage device, and obtains S-parameter matrixes from the N-port network system. S-parameters in the S-parameter matrix that satisfy passivity are checked, and an interpolation algorithm to supplement S-parameters with passivity when some S-parameters not satisfy passivity is performed. Numbers of pole-residue, times for recursion and a tolerant system error of a rational function are generated for determining S-parameters. A rational function matrix composed of S-parameters is generated by performing a vector fitting algorithm, and an equivalent circuit is generated compatible with HSPICE format based on the generated rational function matrix.

Equivalent circuit simulation system and method for HSPICE

In a method for checking layout of a printed circuit board (PCB) using an electronic device, a power line is selected from a layout diagram of the PCB. The method searches for one or more signal lines which are overlapping with the selected power line from the layout diagram of the PCB. The method further locates attribute data of the searched signal lines and the selected power line in the layout diagram of the PCB, and displays the attribute data of the searched signal lines and the selected power line on a display device of the electronic device.

Electronic device and method for checking layout of printed circuit board

A printed circuit board includes first and second transmission lines connected to a first high speed differential signal control chip, third and fourth transmission lines connected to a second high speed differential signal control chip, and fifth and sixth transmission lines connected to a connector pad. To have the first high speed differential signal control chip communicate with the connector pad, the first transmission line is connected to the fifth transmission line through a first connection component, and the second transmission line is connected to the sixth transmission line through a second connection component. To have the second speed differential signal control chip communicate with the connector pad, the third transmission line is connected to the fifth transmission line through the first connection component, and the fourth transmission line is connected to the sixth transmission line through the second connection component.

In a method of managing process factors that influence electrical properties of printed circuit boards (PCBs), n process factors are arranged in an order according to different influence to one kind of electrical property of the PCBs. The different influence is determined by first experiments designed using the Taguchi method. M process factors that have important influence to the electrical property are obtained from the n process factors according to the order to design second experiments. A computing formula for the electrical property is fitted using the m process factors according to simulated results of the second experiments, and a variation range of each of the m process factors is computed according to the computing formula.

Method of managing process factors that influence electrical properties of printed circuit boards

In a method for inspecting the layout of a printed circuit board (PCB), a component to be checked is determined from an electronic layout diagram of the PCB, and a power transmission line which may be serving that component is selected. The layout diagram is checked to determine whether the component is connected to the power transmission line, and further checked to determine whether more than one ground pins of the component is connected to the power transmission line. Vias that are shared by two or more ground pins of the component are determined if more than one ground pin is connected to the power transmission line. Shared vias are marked on the layout diagram.

Computing device and method for inspecting layout of printed circuit board

A printed circuit board includes a high-speed differential signal control chip, first to eighth coupling capacitor pads, first to fourth connector pads, a first transmission line, a second transmission line, a third transmission line, a fourth transmission line, first to eighth transmission lines, two ninth transmission lines, first and second vias, and first to fourth sharing pads. The printed circuit board is operable to selectively support multiple connectors.

A differential signal transmission device transmits N differential signal pairs from a differential signal generator to a number of receiving terminals. The N differential signal pairs include N positive signals and N negative signals. The N positive signals are clustered at a first positive clustering point. The first positive clustering point is connected to a second positive clustering point via a first matching resistor. The second positive clustering point is grounded via a first grounding resistor, and outputs a number of positive signals to the number of receiving terminals respectively. The N negative signals are clustered at a first negative clustering point. The first negative clustering point is connected to a second negative clustering point via a second matching resistor. The second negative signal clustering point is grounded via a second grounding resistor, and outputs a number of negative signals to the number of receiving terminals respectively.
