The first contact is associated with a first operation within the information handling system. The inner button is inserted within the outer button and includes a second contact component. The second contact component is positioned over a second contact of the information handling system, which in turn is associated with a second operation within the information handling system.

An information handling system includes a keyboard with multiple customizable click feeling keys. A first customizable click feeling key includes a keycap magnet and an electromagnet. The keycap magnet includes a first magnetic polarity portion and a second magnetic polarity portion. The system communicates individually with each of the customizable click feeling keys to determine a mode. Based on the mode being a first mode, the system provides a first current to the electromagnet to generate a first magnetic pole strength within the electromagnet. Based on the mode being a second mode, the system provides a second current to the electromagnet to generate a second magnetic pole strength within the electromagnet. The second magnetic pole strength creates a stronger repulsion force between the electromagnet and the keycap magnet.

Pop up customizable click feeling keys for a keyboard

A multiple function button for an information handling system includes an outer shell and an inner button. The outer shell includes multiple channels having first, second, third and fourth channels. The inner button is inserted within the outer shell. The inner button includes a tab and a contact component. The tab moves within the multiple channels. When the tab is within the first channel, the inner button is in a first position and contact component is positioned over a first contact of the information handling system. When the tab is within the third channel, the inner button is in a second position and the contact component is positioned over a second contact of the information handling system.

A cable-organizing circuit board includes a board body and a protruding hanger arm. The board body has a circuit-layout section and a non-circuit-layout section that are connected to each other. The protruding hanger arm is disposed at the non-circuit-layout section of the board body, and is adapted to be permit a segment of the transmission cable to pass thereunder. The present disclosure provides an input apparatus, which is coupled to a handheld electronic device. The input apparatus includes a touchpad and a processing unit. The touchpad includes a button region having a plurality of virtual buttons defined therein. The touchpad is used for sensing a touch gesture of a user over the button region and correspondingly generating a touch coordinate data and a touch pressure value. The processing unit is coupled to the touchpad. A keyswitch structure includes a bottom board, a circuit board disposed on the bottom board, a resilient member, a key cap and two supporting members. The bottom board is formed with two first holes spaced apart from each other. The key cap is located over the bottom board, and includes two pivoting portions that are spaced apart from each other. Each supporting member has an end pivoted to a respective one of the pivoting portions of the key cap, and an opposite end pivoted to the bottom board. When the key cap is moved toward the bottom board and presses the resilient member, each of the supporting members engages at least partly a corresponding one of the first holes, and the resilient member triggers the circuit board so as to generate a corresponding signal.

Keyswitch structure

In a connector structure, a moving element is pushed by a connector to move horizontally with respect to a first housing, while a linking element is moved accordingly by the moving element vertically with respect to the first housing. With such structural relation, the connector structure may be substantially reduced in its thickness before connection with the connector, saving room for the thickness of an electronic device where the connector structure is disposed. As the connector is inserted to the connector structure, the sinked linking element provides necessary structural support for withholding the connector, securing the contact between the connector and a connecting jack of the connector structure, and preventing the connector from detaching from the connector structure.
