A file processing device and a method are provided. The method includes: providing a storage unit for storing a connection date when an exterior storage device is connected to a file processing device; retrieving a last connection date of the exterior storage device; selecting the exterior storage device for files or file folders whose date information is later than the last connection date; and copying and saving the selected files or file folder to the file processing device.

A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a power source, a power management unit, a display panel, a backlight unit, a touch sensing unit and a processing unit. The display panel includes a reflective structure. The power management unit is used to manage the power supply from the power source to the DPF. The touch sensing unit is used to produce a touch signal when detecting the DPF is touched by a user. The processing unit receives the touch signal, and controls the management unit to discontinue the power from the power source to the backlight unit, therefore display panel reflects images via the reflective structure.

The storage unit stores a plurality of media files and a table that defines relationships between shaking levels and the sampling rates of the at least one group of media files. The motion state determining unit determines a duration of the shaking of the media player and the times of state changing of the vibration switch according to signals from the vibration switch and determines a shaking level according to the duration of the shaking of the media player and the times of state changing of the vibration switch.

The vibration switch includes a housing with a chamber formed thereon and extended in a longitudinal direction. Two attachment means are disposed at two ends of the chamber respectively. An electrically conductive inertial weight received in the chamber and disposed between the two spring means. When the vibration switch is jerked in the longitudinal direction, the inertial weight is capable of moving by inertial force from an initial position to positions where the inertial weight contacts or disengages one of the two spring means, making the vibration switch change from an initial state to a switch-on state or a switch-off state; the inertial weight is capable of returning to the inertial position by the spring force of the two spring means.
