Dynamic tuning method for a specific absorption rate (SAR) is provided. The dynamic tuning method is applied to user equipment (UE). The dynamic tuning method may include the following steps: the UE may determine the back-off value corresponding to the current antenna state; and the UE may tune the conducted power of the radio frequency (RF) circuit of the UE based on the back-off value.

Dynamic tuning method for SAR and user equipment thereof

The invention provides an antenna subsystem with improved radiation performances. The antenna subsystem may comprise an antenna-in-module (AiM), an auxiliary structure being conductive, and a support structure being nonconductive and disposed between the AiM and the auxiliary structure. The AiM may comprise a base, and one or more radiators being conductive. The antenna subsystem may provide a spherical coverage by a combination of a first component of gain and a second component of gain. The auxiliary structure may be insulated from the one or more radiators, and may be configured for orienting a radiation pattern of the first component of gain and a radiation pattern of the second component of gain to two different directions respectively; and/or, causing the spherical coverage provided by the antenna subsystem to be broader than a spherical coverage provided by the AiM alone.

Antenna subsystem with improved radiation performances

The invention provides method and apparatus augmenting functionality of an antenna-in-module (AiM) of a user equipment (UE) to proximity detection (and more) besides wireless communication. The AiM may comprise a radiator set and a channel circuit set. The radiator set may comprise one or more radiators, and the channel circuit set may comprise one or more channel circuits. The method may comprise: causing a first subset of the channel circuit set to transmit outgoing electromagnetic (EM) waves by circular polarization of a first rotation sense, causing a second subset of the channel circuit set to receive incoming EM waves by circular polarization of a second rotation sense different from the first rotation sense, accordingly obtaining one or more received detection signals, and executing the proximity detection according to the one or more received detection signals.

Method and apparatus augmenting functionality of antenna-in-module of user equipment to proximity detection besides wireless communication

A wideband antenna for a wireless communication device includes a grounding element, a radiating element, extending in a first direction, for transmitting and receiving wireless signals, a feed-in terminal electrically connected to the radiating element, for transmitting a feed-in signal to the radiating element, and a first parasitic radiating element, extending in the first direction, having a side separated from a side of the radiating element by a first distance, and another side separated from the grounding element by a second distance. The first distance allows the first parasitic radiating element and the radiating element to generate a coupling effect to form a slot antenna for transmitting and receiving wireless signals, and the second distance allows the first parasitic radiating element and the grounding element to generate a coupling effect to form a coupling path to the grounding element to increase bandwidth.

Wideband antenna

A speaker module for installing on an electronic device is disclosed. The speaker module includes a containing casing, a speaker device, an antenna, at least one audio signal transmitting member, and at least one antenna signal transmitting member. The containing casing has at least one hole formed thereon. The speaker device is disposed in the containing casing and outputs sound via the hole. The antenna is formed integrally with the containing casing along the contour of the containing casing. The audio signal transmitting member is electrically connected to the speaker device for electrically connecting to the electronic device, so as to establish audio signal transmission between the speaker device and the electronic device. The antenna signal transmitting member is electrically connected to the antenna for electrically connecting to the electronic device, so as to establish antenna signal transmission between the antenna and the electronic device.
