The method includes: generating, by a touch sensor with a detection area, a touch signal, wherein the touch sensor is included in a ring-type controller; providing, by a head-mounted display, an extended reality scene; determining, by the head-mounted display, whether an object is in the detection area according to the touch signal; in response to determining the object is in the detection area, generating, by the head-mounted display, a first command according to a movement of the ring-type controller; and moving, by the head-mounted display, a cursor in the extended reality scene according to the first command.

The wearable device determines whether a plurality of motion sensing values exceed a first threshold to determine whether the wearable device is in an active state or an inactive state. In response to the wearable device being in the active state, the wearable device transmits a sensing data to an external device through a wireless communication connection, the sensing data includes the motion sensing values. In response to the wearable device being in the inactive state, the wearable device does not transmit the sensing data to the external device and does not turn off a motion sensor of the wearable device.

A system and a method for remotely controlling extended reality by a virtual mouse are provided. The system includes a head mounted display and a first remote controller for being worn on a hand. The head mounted display includes an image capture device. The first remote controller communicatively connects to the head mounted display, wherein the head mounted display is configured to: capture an image through the image capture device; detect the image to obtain first data of the hand in the image and second data of a plane in the image; and enable the virtual mouse according to the first data and the second data.

A control system is provided. The control system includes a ring device and a controller. The ring device includes an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor. The ring device is adapted to be worn on a finger of a user and the IMU sensor is configured to obtain sensor data. The controller is configured to receive the sensor data from the ring device and generate detection data based on the sensor data. The detection data is configured to indicate whether the ring device is rotated and whether the ring device is tapped. The controller is configured to perform a control operation in a virtual world displayed by the controller based on the detection data.

The method includes following operations: by a motion sensor, sensing a hand movement to generate a movement signal; by a camera module, capturing a plurality of images of the hand movement; by at least one processor, generating a plurality of feature values according to the movement signal adjusted based on hand movement information, wherein the hand movement information is generated by analyzing the plurality of images of the hand movement; and by the at least one processor, controlling a virtual object by a first hand gesture determined by a hand gesture determination model according to the plurality of feature values.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an inertial-measurement unit, an environmental-parameter database, and a computation unit. The inertial-measurement unit is configured to detect inertial information of the electronic device to generate sensor data. The computation unit is configured to perform pose estimation according to the sensor data to obtain a first pose. In response to the electronic device being in a non-moving state, the computation unit performs pose calibration on the first pose according to an environmental parameter in the environmental-parameter database corresponding to a current location at which the electronic device is located.
