In some examples, a non-transitory computer-readable medium stores machine-readable instructions which, when executed by a controller of an electronic device, cause the controller to perform an assistive depth of field analysis. Performing the assistive depth analysis causes the controller to receive images from an image sensor, determine, via artificial intelligence (AI) processing, a depth of field of the images, and generate a signal representing consecutive changes in the depth of field of the images with respect to a first of the images.

The present disclosure provides intelligent radio frequency interference mitigation in a computing platform. The computing platform includes a processor, a memory, a system clock and a wireless network interface. The system clock can be controlled so that the processor and/or the memory may operate at a slow frequency or a fast frequency. The wireless network may operate on a radio channel that experiences radio frequency interference at the fast frequency. The system clock may be intelligently controlled to select the slow frequency to reduce radio frequency interference to prioritize execution of a network application, or to select the fast frequency to increase processor speed and prioritize execution of a local application.

An example electronic device includes a wireless transmitter and a controller. The controller is to: determine an active communication band; determine a parameter value of a proximity sensing circuit based on the active communication band; configure the proximity sensing circuit based on the parameter value; and set an output power of the wireless transmitter based on a detection signal asserted from the proximity sensing circuit. The wireless transmitter is to transmit data using the active communication band and the output power.

Example implementations relate to enabling a radiating element based on an orientation signal. For example, a method may include receiving at a controller of a computing device an orientation signal from an orientation sensor. The orientation signal corresponds to a first orientation of an antenna element of the computing device. The method may also include enabling via the controller a first radiating element of the antenna element based on the orientation signal. The method may further include disabling via the controller a second radiating element of the antenna element based on the orientation signal.

An electronic device includes an antenna, a wireless transmitter, a proximity sensor and a controller. The antenna includes a first radiating element and a second radiating element which has a different length than the first radiating element. The wireless transmitter is to send a radio signal to the antenna and the controller is to disable the first radiating element in response to the proximity sensor detecting a body part.

The present invention provides a treating unit of activated sludge for wastewater treatment and a treating apparatus having the same. The treating unit is constructed by a cage-shaped supporting structure which defines an interior space for containing the microbial cell therein. The present invention provides a measure for simultaneous removal of organics and nitrogen compounds from the wastewater under a condition of controlled aeration, and makes the configuration of treating apparatus as well as the treating process more simplified. It is also an alternative to replace the traditional A2O process. According to the present invention, the design of sludge return, which is essential for the conventional activated sludge treatment, is not needed. Moreover, the present invention is compatible with the conventional activated sludge treatment process and is advantageous in its short start-up period during which a stable operation is achievable.
